Da Jung’s purpose in flying to Spain was to tour Gaudi’s works and relax. So she completely ignored package tours that tacked on other European countries and chose independent travel instead.

Her itinerary and daily routine were simple.

The places she would visit each day were decided spontaneously—either right before bed or in the morning—and on some days, she merely spent time wandering around her accommodation’s neighborhood.

In the evening, as Da Jung descended to the restaurant, she accepted the tray her landlady had neatly prepared.

“Miss from Room 201, eat plenty.”

“Thank you, I’ll enjoy it.”

She bowed politely, turned, and quickly scanned the not-so-large dining area.

She agonized over where to sit, trying to avoid the misfortune of counting rice grains at the same table with that man again, just like yesterday.

Indeed, you can’t judge a person by appearances alone.

God had granted him perfect physical attributes and intellect, yet hadn’t bestowed upon him noble character or temperament.

The only people in the restaurant were Da Jung and a foreign man with blue eyes. He was dining alone at a corner table, while the central table remained empty.

Yesterday’s encounter with that man at the same table was likely because she’d chosen the seat closest to the kitchen.

Clearly, he preferred convenience of movement over comfort.

After finishing her analysis, Da Jung headed for the corner seat opposite the blue-eyed foreigner—the one farthest from the kitchen.

If by any chance that man approached her, he’d have no choice but to sit at the empty central table again, just like yesterday.

Today’s menu consisted of curry rice, soybean sprout soup, stir-fried fish cake, and diced radish kimchi. Just as she picked up her spoon, captivated by the distinctly Korean and appetizing spread—

Krrrk—the sound of a chair scraping the floor sent a wave of unease through her.

Jolting her eyes open, she saw Room 206 placing his tray at the diagonally opposite seat.

Her startled gaze darted to the completely empty center table, then swiftly snapped back to the man’s face.

With so many empty seats available, he *had* to pick this one?

Swallowing the words bubbling on her tongue, she stared at him, bewildered.

Her gaze must have been too direct, because he paused mid-scoop into his soup bowl and met her eyes.

“You can’t eat alone.”

“…….”

Da Jung’s eyes flicked toward the blue-eyed foreigner on the other side. She wasn’t the only person in the restaurant.

He spoke English fluently—so why insist?

He sighed faintly, halting his spoon just before scooping up the soybean sprout soup.

“I don’t eat with men.”

“…….”

It was almost uncanny how effortlessly he answered, as if he’d peeked directly into her mind.

Da Jung, still staring curiously, suddenly came to her senses and lowered her gaze to her tray. If she kept staring, he might accuse her of ogling him—again.

Anyway, the man, whose character clearly didn’t match his looks, had firm principles of his own.

Reluctantly, Da Jung lifted her spoon to her mouth. There were no name tags on the seats—and given how resolute he was, she had nothing to say.

At any rate, eating peacefully today was already out of the question.

Ignoring all the empty seats, he sat beside her yet offered no further conversation.

Despite her efforts not to, he was unavoidably distracting. Convinced the only solution was to eat quickly and leave, she shoveled food into her mouth without even registering where it went.

Suddenly, noisy chatter flooded the previously serene restaurant.

A few people entered—a group of new guests she hadn’t seen since morning.

Two men and two women. Judging by their fluent Korean, they were all Korean.

One woman, catching Da Jung’s eye as she sucked on her spoon, approached and greeted her warmly.

“Hello, are you Korean?”

“Yes… Hello.”

Da Jung mumbled a reply, her eyes quickly darting back to her tray—the woman’s outfit was simply too embarrassing.

Her chest was prominently displayed, and her frayed short hot pants revealed so much of the round flesh beneath that it was nearly indecent.

Though Barcelona’s summer evenings called for at least a light cardigan due to the temperature swing, her outfit looked more suited to a beach.

Though they were both women, Da Jung didn’t know where to look, so she just stared fixedly at her tray.

“My colleague and I are here for summer vacation. We met these older brothers at the accommodation today.”

“Ah… I see.”

Da Jung tended to be shy and reserved around new people.

Though she found such immediate familiarity uncomfortable, she was also the type who couldn’t easily say no—even when she disliked something—so, again, she said nothing.

Chapter 115 Chapter 114

The women, it turned out, were office colleagues, while the men were army discharge buddies planning to return to university, traveling together before resuming school.

In other words, the two groups had only met today.

“Unnie, may I sit here?”

“…….”

Unconsciously, Da Jung glanced toward Room 206. He continued eating, indifferent, not even sparing her a look.

Interpreting her silence as consent, the woman swiftly claimed the seat beside Da Jung.

“I’m twenty-four—so you’re older than me, right?”

“Oh, yes…”

Thinking how quintessentially Korean this conversational rhythm was, Da Jung gave a small nod.

Once the woman sat down, her three companions naturally followed and took seats at the same table.

“It’s so nice meeting Koreans abroad!”

True to her age, the young woman was vibrant, lively, and overflowing with aegyo (cute affectation).

Though clearly the group’s dominant figure, her sweet tone prevented her from seeming overly assertive.

She chattered nonstop, while the woman labeled “Office Senior” silently fiddled with her phone.

Older Brother 1 and 2—who Da Jung had just met today—were busy arranging beer and snacks they’d apparently bought from a convenience store.

Watching the scene, the woman clapped her hands gleefully like an innocent child.

“We decided to have a beer—join us, Unnie!”

“No, I’m….”

Before Da Jung could finish, the woman turned her gaze to Older Brother 1.

“That’s okay, right, Oppa?”

“Well… uh… we only bought enough for ourselves…”

Older Brother 1, looking earnest yet slightly awkward, scratched his head.

Da Jung quickly waved her hands.

“No, really—I’m fine. You all go ahead.”

“Why so stingy, Oppa? Are you worried about the beer cost?”

As expected, the woman ignored Da Jung and scolded Older Brother 1 with a pouty frown.

“No, no… If we run out, we’ll just buy more.”

“That’s my Oppa! Best ever!”

At her aegyo, the bashful soon-to-be student’s face lit up with a shy smile.

The once-quiet restaurant grew chaotic with the newcomers.

Mid-laughter, the woman glanced at the snack bags haphazardly strewn about and sighed.

“There’s barely any food to go with the drinks. What do we do?”

“What do you mean? Just have the oppas go buy more.”

At her words, the men mechanically rose to their feet.

“You guys are amazing. While you’re out, grab more beer too.”

“Got it. Be right back.”

“Aw, take your time~”

As the oppas bashfully hurried out amid her coquettish display, Da Jung frowned inwardly at the woman’s behavior. She shamelessly ordered the men around yet showed no intention of contributing financially.

Since they were about to resume university, they were students—students, by nature, are usually short on money. These women, as working professionals, likely had more financial leeway.

Though irritated, Da Jung decided to stay silent—speaking up would probably earn her nothing but accusations of overstepping.

Then, the aegyo-filled woman sidled up, pressing one shoulder snugly against Da Jung’s. Her eyes, however, were locked on Room 206, who was dining with dignified grace.

“But who’s that oppa? He’s incredibly handsome.”

Indeed—taste is universal. Even Da Jung found herself marveling at him constantly, so of course this woman would notice. Strangely, even knowing his personality left much to be desired didn’t change that fact.

“Is he your boyfriend?”

At the woman’s cautious question, Da Jung frantically shook her head.

“No, no! He’s… just a guest staying here.”

“Ohhh, that explains it. Makes sense, then.”

Leaving those oddly phrased words hanging, the woman twitched the corner of her lips. Yet upon hearing it, Da Jung was indignant.

“What exactly ‘makes sense’?”

Da Jung frowned and pressed for clarification, causing the woman’s eyes to widen.

Chapter 120 Chapter 119

“Well—he’s just *so* handsome!”

“So what?”

The woman’s subtly condescending, faux-innocent tone instantly soured Da Jung’s mood.

Reading the room quickly, the woman offered a pouty smile and clung adorably to Da Jung’s arm.

“Aw, Unnie, why so sensitive? I just meant he’s a waste on you—don’t misunderstand!”

“…….”

After twisting the knife, she called it a misunderstanding. An insult hovered on Da Jung’s tongue—but sadly, part of her couldn’t deny it.

Aware of Da Jung’s displeasure yet feigning ignorance, the woman smiled sweetly.

Unable to spit in that smiling face—and unwilling to escalate—Da Jung exhaled sharply and resumed nibbling at her rice.

Though her appetite had vanished, she felt guilty about wasting food thoughtfully prepared by the landlady, and hesitated over whether leaving some was acceptable.

Now that the previously obstructive “oppas” were gone on errands—and now that the woman had confirmed Da Jung and he weren’t involved—her demeanor shifted strikingly.

Resting her chin on her palm, she stared brazenly at Room 206, shamelessly enough to make even Da Jung uncomfortable. Judging by her intense, sultry gaze, she wasn’t just eyeing him—she looked ready to devour him whole.

Sensing danger, Da Jung shot her a sidelong glance.

*You keep looking at him like that, you’re gonna get scolded.*

She sent a silent warning—but the woman didn’t care.

“How long will you be in Barcelona, Oppa?”

Though she asked sweetly, the man didn’t even glance her way, leisurely continuing his meal.

With practiced chopstick skill, he picked up some stir-fried fish cake, scooped a modest portion of rice, and placed it in his mouth.

Though this was the first time Da Jung had ever considered chopstick use “elegant,” his attitude was certainly sufficient to embarrass the person who’d asked him.

His blatant dismissal only fired up the woman’s stubborn streak.

“Do you have a girlfriend, Oppa?”

She snorted and leaned forward, her half-exposed cleavage bulging prominently.

“If not…?”

“Hm?”

The man calmly set down his spoon.

The utensils rested perfectly aligned—a clear sign: *I’m done eating.*

Unlike his neat placement, his seated posture was lopsided, his sharp gaze coldly assessing the scantily clad woman.

“If you don’t… what do you plan to do about it?”

“Oh, I just…”

“Do you have confidence?”

“Huh?”

“Confidence you can seduce me.”

His tone was flat, yet laced with menace.

The suddenly tense atmosphere made Da Jung’s eyes dart left and right. Why did they have to do this *with her stuck in the middle*?

“You’re something, Oppa—I was just curious.”

The woman laughed awkwardly, yet he kept his lopsided, icy stare fixed on her.

As the air grew heavy, the flustered woman twisted her waist coquettishly.

“Aww, Oppa~ Why so scary? Are you mad?”

After studying her as if sizing her up, he suddenly smirked, one corner of his mouth curling upward.

“You’re not *that* type.”

“What? What do you mean?”

“You. You’re not the type who’d fall for just anyone calling them ‘Oppa.’”

“…….”

The woman’s face froze, stunned and speechless.

Room 206 was the kind of man who’d spit on you—even while smiling.

Krrrk—the chair scraped back. Fully standing, his presence intensified.

Before Da Jung knew it, her elbow was seized and she was yanked upright, spoon still in hand, her eyes wide with bewilderment.

His long, firm arm swept around her shoulders, pulling her firmly against him. Then, pointedly addressing the woman, he declared:

“Maybe *this* one—I wouldn’t rule it out.”

His gaze, heavy and intense, settled on Da Jung’s face—flushed crimson all the way to her ears.

“You’re done eating, right?”

“Huh? Oh—no! Not yet…”

Wide-eyed, Da Jung glanced between her half-eaten rice and his face.

“Your appetite’s already ruined. Let’s go.”

“Wait, hold on—”

“You don’t have to call me ‘Oppa.’”

“What?”

At the thick, deliberate look he aimed at her, Da Jung’s cheeks burned as if scalded.

“You don’t need to recklessly call me ‘Oppa’—I’ll still play the fool for you.”

“What’s gotten into you all of a sudden…?”

He didn’t give her time to finish—instead, he spun her around.

“YAA—AACK!!”

A shrill, furious scream pierced the air.

Her wildly flailing arm swept across the table, sending trays and beer cans clattering to the floor in disarray. The woman, now in full tantrum, glared at him with feral, slit-pupil eyes like a wildcat.

“Did you just call me *reckless* to my face?! Do you even know how to speak properly?!”

He met her distorted, flame-like expression with cold indifference.

“Go play with those idiot guys who fall for your tricks—*that’s* exactly your level.”

Male lead is reincarnated to save his wife

I’ve also read this one twice already. The female lead is kinda soft and gets embarrassed easily—not really my type, but the plot is definitely worth reading. Hurry up and read it, y’all!

Intro

When Shen Yuan encountered Su Jin again in his previous life, she had already become the Prime Minister of the current dynasty. As for him, the former top young master of the capital, he had long since fallen into the abyss, becoming a singer on a pleasure boat.

After a song ended, he was redeemed and sent to the Su Residence.

Su Jin respected and cherished him, gave him a roof over his head, and bestowed him with warmth. Shen Yuan fell deeper and deeper, but before he could express his feelings, Su Jin passed away.

Shen Yuan died to follow her in death, but instead, he returned to when he was fifteen years old.

At that time, he was not yet engaged, and Su Jin was just a poor scholar.

Shen Yuan gritted his teeth, casting aside all his pride, and thought of ways to coax and entice her every day.

The colder and more indifferent Su Jin was towards him, the more proactive Shen Yuan became.

He was not afraid of being mocked by the world, only wanting to marry his Wife-master early, to hold her hand and never let go for a lifetime.

[Note: This story will not specifically point out the male lead’s reincarnation time point; it’s all in the details. Whenever you feel that the male lead is acting strangely, he has most likely been reincarnated.]
