In Ho calmly steadied his mind and stared straight at Soo Yeon.

Soo Yeon, her head turned slightly to the side, wore her trademark dry, impassive expression.

Yet the closer he looked, the more emotions he began to notice—ones he hadn’t seen before.

Her eyes, dull as if she’d resigned herself to everything, still held a faint glimmer of life that hadn’t completely vanished.

Though he was glad her body had returned to normal, as Soo Yeon said, he couldn’t agree with her claim that she’d caused him harm.

If anyone had caused harm, it was him—not her.

Because simply by marrying Seo In Ho, she’d been forced to endure outrageous abuse from his mother.

Compared to that, being hospitalized due to pain during filming was nothing.
