Seduced the Doomed Villain (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 15
My pounding heartbeat seemed to echo in my ears.
I clenched my slightly parted lips shut, afraid my heart might leap out—heat surged toward my eyes.
This isn’t right. Why tempt me? Diana’s face had flushed so deeply she felt ready to burst.
She hadn’t realized until now how weak she was for handsome faces. My older brothers are quite handsome too, after all.
Her eldest brother was none other than the main hidden mastermind of this world.
But could a man described in just a single line truly be as alluring as the story’s protagonists?
Tears welled up in her eyes before she even noticed.
“It feels like I’m about to burst, Diana.”
Burst? What exactly?
For a fleeting moment, an indecent thought flashed through her mind.
It was because the atmosphere surrounding him was overwhelmingly sensual—her cheeks burned even hotter.
“The subject is missing!”
She really was going to burst—right through her face.
Heh. A laugh slipped out before she could stop it. How amusing.
She wanted to crush it tightly in her grip—but also wondered what it would feel like if she tapped it gently and made it ring. She was curious.
Yet another unfamiliar emotion suddenly invaded her.
He’d decided—he would act honestly.
Gazing endlessly at the sleeping girl, he pondered:
How should he treat her, who had quietly stepped into his world without a sound?
Strangeness had always brought him nothing but discomfort. Yet at some point, that discomfort no longer felt bad—so much so that even he thought he must have lost his mind.
That was how peaceful the time and space with her felt.
He’d spent his entire life suppressing bloodthirsty urges and seething desires.
A terrible curse drives people mad. What gnawed most viciously at one’s sanity was the specters.
The family curse bound the cursed to the specters of those who came before, forcing them to endlessly wander the past. Because of it, he’d grown intensely averse to touching anything barehanded.
Just as the memory of his childhood—drenched in his own mother’s blood—was seared into his very bones.
Diana had effortlessly helped him escape that past he’d long accepted as inevitable.
Because at every moment, vividly, she showed him she was nothing like that woman. She never gave him time to dwell on the past.
Who could’ve ever imagined he’d someday be able to touch someone with his bare hands?
Though it applied only to her, the warmth of her skin against his bare palm wasn’t unpleasant at all.
Perhaps… perhaps he might even survive this accursed burden.
He refused to ignore the sensation rising from the depths of his chest—he reached out to grasp it.
He resolved within himself, amid these strange new feelings blooming abruptly: he would make this fluttering certainty clear, and whatever lay at its end, he would not let it slip away.
A madness unlike the curse flickered in his eyes—like a beast guarding its territory.
“Oh, right. Rodric.”
The touch of his cheek against her hand suddenly reminded Diana that just before collapsing, she’d slapped Rodric’s face hard.
“Did it hurt a lot? I hit you to jolt you awake.”
Who was the one talking? This woman had shrugged off sword wounds as if they were nothing.
Was she fearless—or simply careless? Though come to think of it, Diana hated pain too much to be careless.
“You… weren’t in pain?”
Just before fainting, the last word she’d uttered had been “It hurts.”
Rodric released her hand and rubbed the spot on his neck where her fingernails had drawn blood, using his thumb.
Thanks to the priest’s healing, his skin was now flawless—beneath its smooth surface, faint blue veins were visible.
She looked utterly fragile.
“…Hmm, I think it did hurt, sort of.”
The agony right before death had been so overwhelming that the pain right before fainting vanished from memory almost instantly.
But that pain didn’t matter now. As long as she didn’t hurt anymore, that was enough.
In high spirits, she smiled softly, her brows gently lifting.
“I don’t really remember.”
“It’s alright,” she seemed to be comforting him with that smile—his eyes darkened.
He couldn’t tear his gaze away from her faintly glowing smile.

How absurd—that such a small, delicate woman could…
He didn’t understand how she paralyzed his thoughts and made desire bloom from the tips of his toes to the crown of his head.
Instinct took over. Thirst surged. His body reacted before his reason could.
His shadow fell heavily over her face. As he drew closer, her long lashes trembled faintly.
“Absorb my curse for me.”
His voice cracked, raspy and rough.
“…Diana.”
“…”
“My whole body tingles so badly—I feel like my mind’s going to snap.”
“That doesn’t seem to be because of the curse…”
Before she could finish, his lips brushed against hers like falling petals—softly, suddenly.
“Your illness. Doesn’t it get better with stronger physical contact?”
Again, his lips met hers—briefly withdrawing as if asking permission, then returning to deepen the kiss.
“Do you dislike it?”
His heated voice grazed her ear, thick with longing.
Intoxicated by his scent, her pink eyes grew hazy.
It wasn’t just Rodric whose mind had gone blank. Though utterly impulsive, she didn’t dislike it at all.
“I don’t dislike it.”
Enveloped in the heat radiating from him, her sense of reality faded.
“That’s good, Rodric.”
She had a feeling it’d be alright. His lips tasted so sweet she wanted more.
At that brief permission, his lips came crashing down with fierce desire—as if to swallow her whole, dizzyingly deep.
In that intense closeness, the metallic tang of blood was gone completely.
[This is the timeline separator]“That one looks best.”
She pointed toward the dress that appeared most elegant to the maids.
What surprised Diana most upon rising from her seat was the guest room’s dressing chamber—overflowing with gowns and myriad jewels.
Everything fit her perfectly, as if tailored precisely to her measurements.
She closed her eyes and surrendered herself. Under the maids’ expert hands, she was swiftly adorned.
Knock knock. A crisp, polite knock sounded just as her preparations neared completion.
“Come in.”
The guest room door, closed off for so long, finally opened.
The man who entered with impeccable posture was none other than the Head Butler—the de facto power behind the estate.
The elderly man, with his white hair slicked back neatly, exuded an aura that demanded respect—more knight than butler in appearance.
“You called for me, miss?”
“Yes. How goes it?”
Accustomed to getting straight to the point in the Schwarz household, the Head Butler replied calmly:
“I was ordered to escort you.”
Diana smiled brightly in response and rose from her seat. Though she showed no sign outwardly, she was actually quite nervous.
Even with Rodric’s permission, the true master of the house was the Duke.
She was a well-mannered young lady—she needed to meet the Duke directly and formally request his protection.
To assess the situation in the capital, she inevitably needed the Duke’s support.
Walking down the heavy, silent corridor, Diana felt as if she were heading to meet the final boss.
At the imposing door radiating sheer pressure, the Head Butler turned back and asked with his eyes—over the rim of his frameless glasses—whether she was ready.
She took a deep breath, composed her tense expression, and adjusted her features into dignified composure.
The subtle shift in her demeanor made the Head Butler’s eyes widen slightly in surprise.
He’d heard she was the Duke’s daughter, famously never setting foot in high society.
The townsfolk even joked among themselves about how many flaws the reclusive duchess must have.
Yet the young lady before him now was clearly not the graceless, flawed noblewoman they gossiped about.
She carried herself like the younger sister of the Crown Princess—the flower of high society. Obviously, rumors without basis weren’t to be trusted.

Beneath subtly upturned eyes, her pink irises shone with calm resolve.
Snapping back to attention under her gaze, the Head Butler knocked on the door.
“Your Grace, Lady Beatus has arrived.”
“Oh, sister-in-law!”
Felice came up cheerfully from the side just as the Head Butler was knocking.
Tucked under his arm was a stack of documents—apparently he had business in the office.
“Why are you here alone? Where’s my brother?”
Rodric had stepped out to reorganize the knights. For some reason, he’d been reluctant for her to meet his father, and had tried several times to stop her—so she’d come secretly instead.
“Please come in.”
As the office door opened, Diana gave Felice a slight smile in reply and stepped inside.
Felice quickly followed behind her.
Scratch… scratch…
Despite the spacious room filled with advisors and attendants, the only sound was the scratching of quills on paper.
Minutes passed. The Duke, buried in documents, remained utterly silent.
Was this deliberate humiliation? It was disrespectful to a guest. Ahem. Felice cleared his throat pointedly, watching his father’s reaction.
The quill, which had seemed it would never stop, abruptly halted. The Duke lifted his gaze—first to Diana, then to his son.
Though retired from the front lines, the middle-aged Duke’s eyes still burned with sharp intensity.
Under that piercing stare, Felice swallowed hard—but kept his smile firmly in place.
“Father, sister-in-law only just woke up recently—she’s still weak.”
Are you really going to keep her standing like this? At Felice’s question, the Duke tilted his head slightly and appraised Diana—his expression eerily similar to Rodric’s.
“Lady Beatus.”
Declan Schwarz—the head of the Schwarz family, radiating mature dignity—possessed a deep, weighty voice that pressed down on others.
His arrogant eyes, those of a man who’d reached the pinnacle, scrutinized her like a test.
Diana met his gaze without flinching, moving as smoothly as flowing water.
“Good day, Your Grace. I am Diana Beatus, paying my respects.”
She placed one hand over her heart, lifted the hem of her dress with the other, bent her knee, and lowered her head—a gesture of flawless elegance.
“Thank you for your invitation.”
“I don’t recall inviting you.”
It was clearly his sons causing pointless trouble without his consent—his expression practically said as much.
“Simply allowing me to stay within your estate feels like an invitation to me.”
“…”
His eyes plainly said: Then get to the point and leave. Wow. These two really are exactly alike.
Though her pale sky-blue hair matched Felice’s, her deep blue eyes were identical to Rodric’s. That familiarity gave Diana courage.
“Your Grace, I beg your forgiveness in advance for my impertinence.”
“…”
“What? Sister-in-law, what are you saying?”
She exhaled slowly, then strode forward decisively.
“Father.”
With a powerful step, she slammed her palm down on the mahogany desk—BANG!
“Please give me your son!”
The Duke merely stared at her with an impassive face—but shock rippled through the room.
A missed proposal could still be claimed like this. Pride swelled within her—she’d always wanted to try something like this once.
“Madness!” Someone among the advisors blurted out the vulgar thought.
A moment later, the Duke’s eyebrow arched sharply upward—in a manner once again identical to Rodric’s.

She said to him: “Tell me, what makes you like me? I’ll change it!”

Liu Changning transmigrated into a female cannon fodder character in a female-dominant novel.
After reading the first half of the novel’s plot, the first thing she did upon transmigration was to divorce the Pan Jinlian-style male protagonist she had just married.
She indulged herself, pretending to be ugly and poor.
But as time passed, the way that man looked at her became more and more unusual…
Liu Changning was dumbfounded: Tell me, what makes you like me? I’ll change!

This lifetime, Pei Yuanshao was rejected by the same woman twice!
The first time, she drove him away. Forced by the situation, he endured the waves of anger in his heart, yielding and humbling himself.
That person lay slanted on a rocking chair, her sallow face emotionless: “If you don’t want a divorce, go cook!”
Pei Yuanshao’s face was dark and gloomy: “You!”
The second time, after the crisis in Jinling City was resolved, the new emperor sent someone to pick him up. He turned around, stammering: “I… I have to go. If you keep me…”
That person lay on the kang bed, her back to him, as if she had long anticipated this day, crisp and clear: “Goodbye!”
Pei Yuanshao was so angry his fingers trembled: “You… you!”
The mission of family and country made him restrain himself, averting his eyes and turning to leave this broken household.
Two years later, they met again. Seeing her ethereal face, his body shook like a sieve.
“She was originally a ‘she’!”
At the Qionglin Banquet, the top scholar of the imperial examination, a talented person with exceptional speech and conduct, all the unmarried young gentlemen from aristocratic families looked at her with shy and timid eyes.
The peerless imperial official Pei Yuanshao felt the anger in his heart erupt. He pointed at the woman surrounded by the crowd at the Qionglin Banquet, his thin lips slightly curled: “Little sister, I wants that person to be the wife-master of my Mingde Prince Manor.”
