“Once Claire gets her healer’s license, I can proudly tell other nobles about it, right?”

Her reaction surprised me—she’d previously opposed the idea, insisting that true nobles shouldn’t hold professions.

‘Is she just trying to cheer me up?’

“Didn’t you oppose my becoming a healer before? You said having a profession would lower a noble’s dignity.”

“Still, it’s an exam so difficult that even with serious study, many fail. And even if one earns the qualification, there’s no rule saying one must actually practice… Either way, it’s absolutely something to be proud of.”
