The moment Ji Ho’s exciting footsteps stepped out beyond the entrance, he appeared towering over the heads of the crowd.

It was the time when outpatient appointments ended. As people poured out, their eyes invariably flickered toward Ji Ho.

Whether they knew who he was or not, their reactions weren’t very different—everyone’s gaze was naturally stolen by his stunning presence that drew gasps.

Unbothered by the attention, Ji Ho raised his hand toward Lee Su approaching from beyond the crowd. The bracelet on his wrist and the ring on his finger glinted in the fading sunlight.

Strangely enough, every time Lee Su saw them, she inexplicably felt at ease—as if they were a six-year-old promise steadfastly etched onto Ji Ho’s hand. Just seeing them made her feel Seo Ji Ho truly belonged to her.

For that same reason, Lee Su always wore her necklace without fail, and though taking it off and putting it back on each time before entering the operating room was bothersome, she had never once left her ring behind.

Lee Su walked toward Ji Ho, who stood as elegantly as a fashion editorial, beaming brightly. Behind her trailed others, possibly even more excited than she was, shyly following close with flushed faces.

Ji Ho strode forward as if seeing only Lee Su, closing the distance between them in an instant.

Before anyone could blink, Lee Su was already drawn into Ji Ho’s embrace as if pulled by gravity. Ji Ho held her tightly and gently kissed the top of her head.

The group trailing behind froze, their widened eyes blinking rapidly at the sight.

“Ji Ho…”

Aware of her colleagues, Lee Su barely managed to wiggle out of Ji Ho’s arms.

“These are people I work with—they wanted to greet you…”

Stepping back, Lee Su turned around and said with an embarrassed look.

“Oh.”
