Romance for You (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 7
“Nice to meet you. I’m Ahn Joo Hee from the English Literature Department. Since we’re in the same year, feel free to speak casually, okay?”
Joo Hee introduced herself to Ji Ho with a friendly smile.
“Yeah. I’m…”
“Seo Ji Ho from the Business Administration Department, right?”
When Joo Hee said it for him, Ji Ho gave a light chuckle and nodded.
He remained calm and composed despite the attention and gazes pouring in from all around.
His expression toward Lee Su was no different.
As if nothing had ever happened.
‘So he really did forget.’
Lee Su bit her lower lip in disbelief.
Just then, the server placed soju and seafood tteokbokki on the table and left.
“I went on a trip to Europe during the break—it was amazing.”
Joo Hee said, spearing a piece of tteokbokki with her fork.
“I’m actually looking into going this summer too.”
“Really? Ask me anything if you’re curious.”
Seeing Moon Young’s interest, Joo Hee brightened immediately.
“I was thinking of taking a connecting flight because direct flights are too expensive. How did you go, unnie?”
“Oh! A connecting flight? I took a direct business class. You’ve got to lie down for long trips.”
Joo Hee flipped her long hair back and slightly lifted her chin.
“Oh…”
“I can’t even sit in economy—it hurts my back too much.”
Joo Hee’s boastful tone grated on Lee Su’s nerves.
Lee Su frowned.
Would anyone actually say something like that on purpose?
“Right…”
Moon Young nodded slowly, dragging out the word in response to Joo Hee’s show-off attitude.
Ji Ho, sitting beside them, just gave a faint amused chuckle, while Lee Su, after glancing back and forth between Joo Hee and Moon Young, reluctantly spoke up to break the awkward tension.
“If you have some schedule flexibility, a connecting flight isn’t bad. If the layover is long enough, you can even get off and do some sightseeing. It can actually be better than sitting on a plane for hours straight.”
“Exactly! And it’s more cost-effective too.”
“Yeah. Save the money you’d spend on a direct flight and use it to eat something delicious instead.”
Moon Young smiled brightly and nodded.
Ji Ho rested his chin in his hand and looked at Lee Su.
How thoughtful of her.
Wasn’t she the one who used to fly first class?
Lee Su, pretending not to remember and acting as if nothing had happened, kindly sided with Moon Young.
“Lee Su, you’ve never even taken a long-haul direct flight, have you? You say that because you don’t know—it’s not tiring at all to go nonstop. It’s way more comfortable. If you’re going to Europe, just take a direct flight. What’s a few bucks compared to all that hassle? And if you can’t even spare that much, maybe just don’t go at all.”
Joo Hee snorted derisively, as if Lee Su’s suggestion was ridiculous.
Her tone was presumptuous and dismissive, but Lee Su didn’t feel like arguing over whether it was true or not.
She just let out a quiet sigh out of unavoidable discomfort.
At that moment, Ji Ho, who had been silently listening, suddenly chuckled and poured soju generously into Lee Su’s glass.
He met Lee Su’s eyes with a look that said he understood exactly how she felt.
It must seem absurd and laughable, right?
Ji Ho lifted his glass and gently clinked it against Lee Su’s.
“Don’t get worked up—just have a drink.”
Lee Su raised her glass while looking at Ji Ho.
Maybe it was because of his eyes—the soju went down smooth and strangely sweet.

About an hour after they’d gathered and everyone was feeling tipsy, the organizer stood up.
“Let’s switch seats once now.”
This came right after everyone present had taken turns introducing themselves.
Trending
As people started shifting seats accordingly, Ae Ra approached Lee Su.
“Lee Su, Senior Min Woo wants you to come to his table.”
Yoo Min Woo was a senior from the Chemistry Department.
The self-proclaimed drinking champion, Min Woo, had been calling juniors over to his table one by one to drink with him from the very start.
Ae Ra, who had been sitting there until now, had come to ask Lee Su to switch places.
“Got it. Then you sit here.”
Among those who’d been waiting eagerly for Ji Ho was Ae Ra.
Now that Seo Ji Ho was right in front of her, just as she’d hoped, she had to say something—anything.
“Uh… should I?”
Ae Ra shuffled awkwardly and gave an uneasy smile.
Beating out others eyeing Lee Su’s seat, Lee Su immediately handed it over to Ae Ra.
Lee Su and Moon Young moved to another table, and Ae Ra took Lee Su’s former seat along with another freshman.
Ji Ho kept glancing toward where Lee Su had moved every now and then between drinks.
One shot, two shots, three shots, four shots…
Min Woo, seated right across, kept refilling Lee Su’s glass without pause.
Empty soju bottles were quickly piling up on the table.
Was the point of this gathering friendship—or forced drinking?
Though the atmosphere was clearly coercive, Lee Su kept accepting with a giggly smile.
Each time the glass touched Lee Su’s lips, Ji Ho unconsciously frowned.
He didn’t hear a word of what Joo Hee and Ae Ra were saying beside him.
Just as Ji Ho was about to stand up and switch seats out of concern, Lee Su suddenly rose unsteadily from hers.
**
The world spun in dizzying circles.
Lee Su, gripping the wall with one hand, went to the restroom and looked at her reflection in the mirror.
Her face wasn’t just pale—it was ghostly white.
“Wow. You’re drunk but it doesn’t even show.”
Lee Su splashed cold water on her face at the sink.
She tried to sober up a bit, but it was useless.
She’d had hardly any food and drank shot after shot—surely at least two or three bottles by now.
She’d gotten drunk because she kept drinking whatever Senior Min Woo offered, but it was still far more bearable than listening to Joo Hee’s bragging.
Besides, drinking with seniors who actually had good chemistry was kind of fun.
Still, she probably shouldn’t drink any more.
Lee Su left the restroom and stepped outside, hoping the fresh air would help clear her head.
Drunk students stumbling around, groups loudly chatting, and blaring music blasting through the speakers.
Even in the deep night darkness, everything felt chaotic and overwhelming.
Lee Su headed toward Luna Garden behind the university auditorium to escape the dizzying noise and lights.
It was a quiet spot rarely visited in the evenings, and walking there and back might help sober her up.
As she walked, the chilly night air made her shoulders instinctively hunch.
She hadn’t realized how drunk she was while sitting down, but now the asphalt seemed to rise up toward her with every step.
Her body swayed unsteadily, as if gravity had stopped working properly.
“Ah, I’m gonna fall.”
Lee Su stopped walking and bent deeply at the waist.
She planted both hands on her knees and took a deep breath.
Cold air filled her lungs and exhaled again, thick with the scent of alcohol.
After a few deep breaths, Lee Su straightened her back.
The moment she lifted her head and took a step forward, the world suddenly spun violently and her body lurched sideways.
“Ahh!”
A large hand shot out and caught Lee Su’s shoulder just before she tumbled diagonally to the ground.
It was a firm, reassuring hand—so steady she almost wanted to lean into it.
“Be careful. You almost fell.”

A familiar scent enveloped her, and a sweet voice slipped into her ear.
She didn’t even need to look to know who it was.
Seo Ji Ho—even his urgent tone sounded melodious to Lee Su as she looked up.
She stared at Ji Ho with an expression that clearly asked, “Is this another coincidence? What are you even doing here?”
“I saw you staggering and kept walking…”
Because you looked like you were about to fall.
Lee Su’s eyes were half-lidded.
The smell of alcohol clung heavily to her.
Ji Ho, who had followed her out, had kept his distance just close enough to reach out at any moment, anxiously watching her sway with every step.
“Wow… thanks.”
Lee Su tightened her legs and straightened her leaning body.
“It’s funny—every time I see you, something good happens. I feel like I’ve thanked you every single time we’ve met.”
Lee Su giggled softly.
“You seem pretty drunk.”
Ji Ho found Lee Su’s unusually disheveled appearance a little strange—he’d never seen her like this before.
Her unfocused eyes, slightly slurred speech, pale skin, and inexplicable crinkles in the corners of her eyes.
“Do I really look drunk?”
Lee Su blinked her eyes wide open with an expression that said “That can’t be!”—making Ji Ho laugh helplessly.
“How could I not tell when you’re staggering like this?”
“Ah… but my face looks fine, right?”
Lee Su arched her head back sharply and thrust her face right under Ji Ho’s chin, as if to say “Look at me properly!”
That childish plea made Ji Ho clench his fists tightly.
Otherwise, he might’ve cupped her face in both hands.
“No. You clearly look very drunk.”
“Really? I thought people wouldn’t notice since my face got pale.”
“You don’t know? I know very well—go sit over there before you fall again.”
He gestured toward a bench a few steps ahead, and Lee Su staggered toward it unsteadily.
Luna Garden, far from the main gate, was quiet.
Only the occasional whoosh of passing cars could be heard beyond the dense wooden fence.
“Why drink so much if you can’t even hold your liquor?”
“Well… it’d be awkward not to. If I didn’t drink, they’d say something. So I just went ahead and drank.”
Lee Su slumped loosely against the bench.
Each breath she exhaled carried a strong whiff of alcohol.
“Doesn’t it get tiring living like that?”
“…”
“Just now with Ahn Joo Hee, and that senior—Min Woo, was it? You couldn’t even refuse the drinks they were forcing on you.”
“Joo Hee was… kind of annoying, I guess.”
“Why not just throw it right back at her? Ask if she’s ever flown first class.”
Ji Ho chuckled playfully.
“Ew… no way. That’d be so childish.”
Lee Su wrinkled her nose and shook her head firmly.
Just imagining herself acting that smug made her cringe.
“You handled it well even though it must’ve been uncomfortable to listen to.”
She’d endured far worse in her life—this was nothing.
Lee Su gave a bitter little smile, as if to say it barely mattered.
Now that she thought about it, Yoo Mi had called Seo Ji Ho “Ji Ho oppa.”
What exactly was their relationship?
Lee Su briefly wondered, then shook her head.
Did it even matter? And besides, there was something else she was far more curious about.
“…Why didn’t you contact me?”

She never would’ve asked if she were sober, but alcohol had loosened Lee Su’s tongue.
Her tone was tinged with disappointment.
She stared at Ji Ho with resentful eyes.
“Did you… wait for my call?”
Lee Su frowned.
Was he saying he hadn’t expected it—or was he seriously asking if she’d waited?
She couldn’t read Ji Ho’s expression clearly.
She wanted to calmly say “No,” but her eyes and face had already given away a strong “Yes.”
“…Was that umbrella just something you meant for me to keep?”
Instead of answering, Lee Su asked again.
“…I asked if you waited.”
Instead of answering, Ji Ho asked again.
Their mutual determination to hear a reply stretched into a long silence.
Though his lips stayed firmly shut, Ji Ho felt he’d already heard her answer in her eyes and expression.
Lee Su’s flushed face filled Ji Ho’s darkened gaze.
When Lee Su looked away first and lowered her head, Ji Ho’s voice drifted down from above.
“I… waited.”
His tone was calm.
“I kept thinking you might contact me first if I didn’t. I hoped you would.”
Ever since he’d walked her home and returned to his place, he’d kept thinking about it.
When would she reach out? How?
He’d typed messages into his phone only to delete them, and started dialing before hanging up.
He’d never been in a situation like this before—it felt both bewildering and new.
If he said he’d held back because he was curious about her reaction, wondering whether she felt the same way… would that even count as an answer?
Maybe because she was drunk, Lee Su couldn’t quite grasp what Ji Ho was saying.
“Why?”
Her mind felt foggy like mist, yet her heart beat strangely fast.
“I just wanted you to care about me.”
“…But you said you’d contact me.”
Then why did you wait?
“That’s exactly why I waited.”
She’d only wanted to return the umbrella—it wasn’t like she’d been waiting for Seo Ji Ho.
Now that she’d said it out loud, it sounded odd, and she thought she should clarify—but before she could, Ji Ho’s voice came again, accompanied by a low chuckle.
“I’m glad.”
Ji Ho felt half relief and half disbelief at himself.
Glad about what? Lee Su looked up at him, confused.
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
