Ah… His Highness the Prince’s office.

The moment Howard recalled where the missing documents might be, he immediately headed straight for the prince’s office. The knights guarding the palace in triple layers bowed respectfully with each of Howard’s steps.

The prince’s office was as heavily secured as its master’s honor, yet Howard’s position as First Aide granted him an exception—allowing him to enter even when the master was away.

But the instant he opened the office door as usual, Howard found himself unusually flustered.

The office was brightly lit. And beneath that bright light, the prince—who absolutely should not have been there—was staring right at Howard.

“What are you so shocked about? You’re making me embarrassed.”

The prince, seated with his long legs elegantly crossed, shrugged his shoulders. Though his lazy smile didn’t look embarrassed in the slightest, Howard chose not to point that out.

Instead, he tried hard to figure out why the prince, who had just finished his official duties, was still lingering in the office.

After hearing news of the princess consort’s muscle pain, the prince had neatly wrapped up all reports and left the office without so much as a backward glance… Surely he wouldn’t be returning now just to finish unfinished work.

“No entry to the bedroom.”

Edwin chuckled softly, leaning back against the sofa.

No entry to the bedroom? What on earth could have happened between the two, who were always so affectionate?

As the ever-stoic Howard blinked in disbelief, Edwin added playfully,

“There are rampant rumors in the palace. They say the princess consort, who collapsed from my training, is preparing an enormous revenge.”

“…We’ll see about that, Edwin. My lesson will be quite strict, too.”
