Regret With All Your Might (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 21
“What on earth is going on? Did His Grace the Grand Duke just propose to Lady Madelaine?”
“No, surely not. Given that he asked the Emperor for permission to marry, doesn’t that mean the proposal—and even her acceptance—has already happened?”
“Honestly, that lady never has a single quiet day.”
The nobles murmured among themselves. As always, their gossip ended with Lady Olivia. Olivia habitually tried to think of something else.
“It’s fine. It’s nothing serious.” After all, whenever she thought that way, it really did feel okay.
So when warmth touched her hand, Olivia was slightly startled. The Grand Duke had placed his hand over hers—the one linked through his arm. Casually, as if it were nothing, he gave her hand a few light taps, then swept his gaze slowly across the distant nobles.
The self-indulgent chatter quieted down. When the banquet hall fell silent once more, the Grand Duke looked at Olivia.
“…No matter how I think about it, that dress suits you incredibly well today.”
His whisper, spoken in a soft voice, came out of nowhere. Unconsciously, Olivia’s tightly set expression softened, and she smiled a little.
But then she saw a man approaching from a short distance away, and her hand tensed again.
“Grand Duke. Did you just dare to propose to my fiancée?”
It was Leopold.
Leopold frowned as he stared at the Grand Duke. The Bicander Grand Duke, standing beside Olivia like a partner, faced him squarely and unflinchingly.
Leopold’s eyes narrowed sharply.
Edwin Lowell Bicander. The Grand Duke was his father’s dog. That meant, once he ascended the throne, the Grand Duke would become his dog as well—easily replaceable. Yet this dog not only dared to desire marriage with his fiancée but even stood before him as if challenging his strength.

My Step-brother Is Obsessed With Me (Female-dominant)
A gentle female protagonist vs pitiful in the early stage, and a sick male protagonist in the later stage
Cheng Songer transmigrated into the body of a vicious cannon fodder female supporting character with the same name as her in a female-dominant novel.
In the original story, the cannon fodder female supporting character was inhumane, committing domestic violence, gambling excessively, being lustful, and even wanting to sell her stepbrother to a brothel for money.
As luck would have it, she just happened to transmigrate at this time.
Seeing Cheng Qingzhi biting his lip, enduring the tears in his eyes, looking pitiful, her heart softened.
She stuffed the money back into the Madam’s hand and reached out to him.
“Brother, come home with me.”
