“Do you really think Jade would be happy?”

I gripped my dress and stepped forward.
“Mary, you may leave now.”

As I sat across from him, Jade leaned back comfortably on the sofa and crossed one leg over the other.

I kept staring at him, unsure how to say I was pregnant.

True to his cool reply, Jade was a beast—a wolf.
