Office Romance Scandal (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 21
Hae Jin groaned as she dragged her suitcase down. Tae Hong, who had somehow already come out, effortlessly picked up the bulky suitcase.
Seeing her high heels, he turned back to look at Hae Jin, who was awkwardly rubbing her now-free hand.
“You said you were strong.”
Without giving her a chance to reply, he carried her suitcase toward the car.
Hae Jin, who had been watching him load the luggage into the trunk, moved to open the driver’s door—only for Tae Hong, who should have sat in the passenger seat, to step right beside her.
“I’ll drive.”
“I’ll do it.”
Hae Jin tried gently pushing Tae Hong aside, but he was clearly not the type to budge from such a light shove. She had no way of overcoming his stubborn stance.
“At this point, are you doing it on purpose?”
“On purpose?”
He tilted his head toward her heels, prompting Hae Jin to wave both hands frantically in front of her.
“Oh, no—it’s just that I rushed out in a hurry.”
“Right, so just sit next to me.”
Hae Jin lingered awkwardly, but eventually moved to the passenger seat. She’d been so focused on getting ready quickly, fearing he’d wait outside.
She would’ve obviously worn low-heeled shoes if she’d thought about driving, but her mind had been completely scattered. And of course, nothing escaped his sharp eyes.

My Step-brother Is Obsessed With Me (Female-dominant)
A gentle female protagonist vs pitiful in the early stage, and a sick male protagonist in the later stage
Cheng Songer transmigrated into the body of a vicious cannon fodder female supporting character with the same name as her in a female-dominant novel.
In the original story, the cannon fodder female supporting character was inhumane, committing domestic violence, gambling excessively, being lustful, and even wanting to sell her stepbrother to a brothel for money.
As luck would have it, she just happened to transmigrate at this time.
Seeing Cheng Qingzhi biting his lip, enduring the tears in his eyes, looking pitiful, her heart softened.
She stuffed the money back into the Madam’s hand and reached out to him.
“Brother, come home with me.”
