No Evil Lady in the World (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 25
On the floor of the warehouse, there were several more trapdoors similar to the one Ariante had fallen through.
They were mainly built to store materials like oil or things that shouldn’t be exposed to light, deep enough for an adult to crouch and enter. It was only natural that Ariante, smaller than her peers, could fall through.
However, the trapdoors had round brass handles and could only be opened by pulling from the outside. Why the door where Ariante fell was open was unclear, but one thing was certain.
Even if Ariante’s fall was an accident, someone else had definitely closed the door afterward.
“The door’s pretty heavy… There’s no way the young lady could’ve done it alone. Opening it from the outside might be possible, but closing it from inside? That’s absurd.”
Meiana thought. She opened the trapdoor and lowered a lamp to look where Ariante had fallen. For some reason, that spot alone was completely empty. While other places were filled with oil jars and boxes…
“Someone deliberately made the young lady fall in here. And then they closed the door.”
Reaching that conclusion, she could no longer contain her anger. Whoever it was, how could anyone in their right mind do such a thing to a child?
The hand holding the lamp trembled faintly. The light, spreading in a circle and illuminating the dim warehouse, flickered slightly in that moment.
“Huh?”
A small gasp escaped Meiana’s lips. For just a fleeting moment, as brief as a blink, something glinted in the light.
Where was it? Meiana hurriedly moved the lamp toward the spot where the light had flashed. The beam shifted toward a stack of grain crates.
“A button…?”
Picking up the button hidden in the shadows, Meiana muttered to herself, frowning.
It wasn’t expensive, made of gold or silver, but a dainty white ceramic button with a small rose embossed on it. The red gem in the center of the petals looked like a fake ruby. No matter how you looked at it, it wasn’t something that belonged in a warehouse like this.

Cold Male Lead Became My Clingy Husband (Female-Dominant)
Feng Bai Su transmigrated into a matriarchal novel, becoming the sister of the female protagonist and the Seventh Princess of the Feng Ling Kingdom.
After working herself to death in her previous life, finally reincarnating as a princess, she only wanted to be a lazy fish who could eat, sleep, and play.
Until she met the male protagonist from the book, Wei Jing Mo, and he took a liking to her!
Wei Jing Mo is the top young man in Feng Ling City, talented in both appearance and ability, from a prestigious family, with a cold and otherworldly appearance, a figure like the bright moon in the hearts of noble ladies. It was thought that only the most powerful and talented noble lady in Feng Ling City would be worthy of such a brilliant young man. Who knew that this young gentleman would secretly admire the infamous Seventh Princess?
Short scene 1:
Feng Bai Su looked at the young man crying like a pear blossom in the rain before her, and couldn’t help but doubt her life.
Wasn’t the male lead described as a cold and otherworldly figure in the book?
Then who was this poor little thing crying with swollen red eyes and tear-stained face?
Short scene 2:
Wei Jing Mo stared intently at Feng Bai Su who was about to go out, wanting to say, “Be careful on the road.”
Before he could speak, Feng Bai Su suddenly bent down and bit his cheek.
Her peach blossom eyes were full of disdain: “Tsk! You’re so clingy!”
Wei Jing Mo: “…”
A talented fox spirit female lead with a flirtatious appearance but actually abstinent VS A cold-looking but actually naive and clingy little jealous male lead
