Na Joo Dae shrieked furiously, clutching a bucket, water dripping from it onto Shim Yoo Ran’s shoes.

“Has this ajumma gone senile? Are you insane?”

Yoo Ran screamed, drenched like a drowned rat—a humiliation she’d never experienced before in her life.

“You’re the insane one! The rightful wife is still alive, yet you worm your way in and hammer nails into innocent people’s hearts!”

Nok Hyeon snapped out of his daze at Na Joo Dae’s outcry and took in the scene before him. All the staff stood lined up behind Na Joo Dae, their eyes burning with anger.

Though they’d outwardly acted indifferent, they’d always deeply admired Mo Ra for her thoughtful nature.

Constrained by their families and livelihoods, they’d pretended not to notice—but they’d all pitied her situation and secretly looked after her behind Shim Yoo Ran’s back.

Na Joo Dae spoke on behalf of everyone, addressing Nok Hyeon—not Yoo Ran. They were all in agreement.
