Even on a weekday afternoon, in one crowded alley teeming with people, two women—one tall and glamorous like a model, the other fair-skinned and delicate—leaned close together in deep discussion.

Amid the ceaseless flow of passersby, the two friends stood out unmistakably, oblivious—or perhaps indifferent—to the anonymous gazes showering upon them as they remained utterly absorbed in their own world.

“Hmm. Isn’t this background kind of meh? The poses came out naturally enough, though.”

“I think it’s fine. If you really hate it, how about just adjusting the tones?”

“I dunno. Are you gonna do it for me?”

Her upturned cat-like eyes sparkled wide open. As those bright, expectant pupils stared back at her, Yu In let out an incredulous laugh.

“You’re such a budding tyrant boss.”

“Oh come on~ ‘Tyrant’? I’d happily pay you a proper salary if you officially joined as staff. What do you say—interview right now?”

“Pass.”

Leaving Jae Hee to her little boss-and-rookie-employee skit, Yu In quietly smiled and swiped through the freshly taken photos with her index finger.

Now that summer break had arrived and she was thoroughly idle, Yu In had decided it was far more productive to help Jae Hee, who was swamped preparing for a market event, than to sit home alone nursing boredom.

When Yu In offered to help with everything except modeling, Jae Hee immediately handed her the camera—after all, Yu In never turned down a chance to use her beloved camera, second only to reading printed text.

While Yu In reviewed a few more shots, Jae Hee swapped out her accessories and struck a pose beneath a wall that caught her fancy.

“How about here? Did it turn out well?”
