My Husband's Scandal (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 37
Seung Yeop, who commuted by bicycle for exercise, spotted Yoon from afar—impossible to miss—and immediately sprinted toward her.
Sure enough, Yoon was once again surrounded by male students, and he promptly shooed them away as if swatting flies.
“Teacher Park, hello.”
Such a lovely person greeted him with exceptional grace. Just looking at her made him smile unconsciously.
“It’s practically autumn already, isn’t it?”
Walking alongside Yoon and chatting about everything from today’s weather to small happenings at school—this time was more precious to Seung Yeop than any other.
“Oh, by the way, you know there’s a department-wide dinner next week, right?”
Seung Yeop suddenly snapped his fingers as if just remembering.
“Oh, I probably won’t be able to join.”
“Is that so? It’s already set for next Friday. Please try your best to attend. You didn’t show up even once during the first semester. Even after your fixed-term contract ends, we might end up working together again someday, so it’s best to maintain good relationships if possible.”
“Okay.”
Though they didn’t intentionally exclude fixed-term teachers from dinners, Yoon still hesitated to participate. Moreover, she didn’t particularly enjoy drinking gatherings.
“Teacher Seo… um, can I ask you something?”
Although Seung Yeop was six years older than her, he always addressed her with such polite respect. Because of this, next to Ho Jung, Seung Yeop was the colleague Yoon liked and respected the most.
“Yes?”

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.
