My Husband's Lover (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 47
“Looking for anything in particular?”
The store clerk asked kindly to the man standing awkwardly in place. His appearance in the baby products section was painfully out of place.
Amidst shelves filled with all things “cute and tiny,” he stood rigid in his crisp formal suit, creating a stark sense of dissonance. Even the clerk who’d addressed him couldn’t hide her curiosity, studying him intently.
“My wife’s pregnant…”
Uncharacteristically faltering in his speech, Do Ha already held a gift intended for Hae Yeon in his hand. Since he’d come to the department store specifically to buy her a present, his primary goal was already accomplished.
Yet, on his way back to the parking lot after finishing his shopping, he’d spotted this store and walked in without a second thought.
Truthfully, he couldn’t afford to linger any longer. He still had to get home after work, but choosing a gift for Hae Yeon had taken far longer than expected.
“Oh my, congratulations! Take your time and look around.”
Seeing him as a genuine customer, the clerk began introducing various items. As she explained the products, Do Ha was taken aback—never realizing how many things a baby actually needed.
After much deliberation over what to buy and what might be necessary, it was quite a while before something truly captured his attention. The clerk, who’d already had several of her earlier suggestions rejected, suddenly clapped her hands together.
“You like these shoes? That’s an excellent choice! You mentioned you don’t know the baby’s gender yet—don’t worry, in cases like that, you go with neutral colors like yellow or white.”
The item she held out was a pair of pastel baby shoes—so adorably tiny and charming that even the most stoic person would instantly be disarmed.
Do Ha watched silently as the clerk wrapped them up. The moment he saw those tiny shoes, nothing else in the store mattered. As if in a trance, he bought a few more toys before finally leaving, his heart noticeably lighter than when he’d entered.
On his way to the parking lot, Do Ha carried not only the bag containing Hae Yeon’s gift but also several additional shopping bags filled with baby items.
“What’s all this?”

After Being Cheated On, She Picked Up a Treasure (Female-dominant)
One-line summary: The husband I married on a whim had been secretly in love with me for a long time.
On the day when Jun Shao finally obtained the imperial decree for her marriage, Lan Qu, the person she had admired for six years, defied the decree and ran away.
Her gentleness and devotion, her promise of a lifetime together, were all disregarded by him. Instead, he dreamed of entering the palace to serve the Emperor’s sister as a sixth-rank attendant.
News of this incident spread throughout the capital, and the alleys in front of and behind the Lan mansion were crowded with people who came to watch the commotion.
Jun Shao should have been embarrassed and angry.
But someone stepped in to protect her dignity.
The figure was in a miserable state, yet still possessed an undeniable elegance and handsomeness.
The young lord struggled to climb the wall of the Lan mansion and shouted to her, “If he won’t marry you, I will!”
So, Jun Shao took advantage of the situation and married the person.
She thought the young lord did it to save the Lan family from the crime of defying the imperial decree, but never imagined that from beginning to end, what he coveted was her.
*
After the wedding, Jun Shao felt like she was living in a dream.
Her Wife-master was as beautiful as a fairy in a painting, skilled in the six arts, well-versed in poetry and literature, capable of being gentle and attentive, and also grand and dignified. Most importantly, she was the only one in his heart and eyes.
Jun Shao didn’t know how Lan Shiwu, as a illegitimate son without a father and blessed with beauty, had managed to preserve his purity, recklessly escape, and use his last ounce of strength to ruin his own reputation, all because of his love for her, just to stand before her.
She could only see him gazing at her with eyes full of love, and when she bestowed a name upon him, his eyes shone like stars.
“You have come to me like a weary bird perching on a branch. I shall call you A Qi.”
