My Husband's Cinderella (Completed Main Story) - Side Story 5
Chloe’s eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Pippi.
“Pippi?”
“Pippi, pipp—.”
“Did His Majesty send you?”
She thought, as expected, Chloe recognized her as Pippi. It was fortunate that Chloe wouldn’t waste time flustered.
Perhaps she’d served as Coon’s messenger pigeon. Chloe seemed to believe Pippi had been sent by Coon.
“Pippi.”
Beatrice felt slightly frustrated—she wanted to say something else, but all that came out were bird sounds. It would be disastrous if Pippi carelessly failed to inform Coon of her location.
“I’m not entirely sure you’re really Pippi… but I’ll give you a gift.”
“Pippi!”
Thankfully, that didn’t seem to be the case. After all, she’s my mom—she wouldn’t let something so careless slide. Beatrice suddenly felt proud and waited for Chloe’s next move.
She picked up the paper bird pressed near her, unfolded it, tore off the edges to make it smaller, then folded it around the bird’s leg and handed it over.
“You must carry it safely. It’d be even better if you take it to His Majesty.”
“Pippi!”
Great! Now I have something to give Dad.

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.
