I kept agonizing over it until the very end, thinking a great sword should have at least five characters in its name… But then suddenly it hit me: “Wait—am I trying too hard? Doesn’t this actually seem kind of uncool?”

So I decided instead to aim for something a bit more nonchalant, like a cool and aloof guy—what you might call a “Naeng Mi Nam.”

I casually combined “Ma” from Demon Sect and “Hwa” from plum blossom to name it the Ma Hwa Sword.

What do you think? Isn’t it actually cooler this way?

I’m so happy I finally have my own sword! It does feel a bit unwieldy since I’m still small, but dancing sword dances with Ma Hwa makes me genuinely happy. I wonder if you, Ja Ga, also have a writing brush that fits perfectly in your hand? If you do, then you must know exactly how I’m feeling!
