Benjamin immediately headed toward the Windsors with Ivan. He had to inform them of this matter and the issue he’d wanted to discuss since their last meeting as soon as possible.

Upon teleporting directly to the townhouse’s front door and entering, Yuricien, who had been picking flowers with Daisy near the garden beds to decorate the dining table, widened her eyes in surprise.

“Oh my, you’re already here?”

Though they’d just been together moments ago, her crimson eyes sparkled brightly with delight at seeing him again. But that joy was short-lived; upon spotting Mitchell standing rigidly behind Benjamin with a stern expression, Yuricien’s own face quickly grew somber.

“Something must have happened.”

“It would be best to discuss this inside.”

Benjamin nodded with a bitter expression and continued.

“Is the Duke inside?”

“Yes. He’s currently going over the agenda for tomorrow’s noble council meeting with Andersen. Shall I request an audience?”

“Yes. You need to be there as well.”

At Benjamin’s words, Yuricien calmly nodded. She had a strong premonition that a significant disturbance was about to unfold.

Watching Yuricien’s retreating figure as she walked toward the mansion escorted by Benjamin, Daisy let out a long sigh.

“I was right in the middle of hearing such an interesting story about how he confessed!”

Having just sent away Heathcliff—whose very name made her blood pressure spike—and being on the verge of hearing the story she’d been most eager for, Daisy felt deeply disappointed. To her, Ivan, who stood beside Mitchell, chuckled mischievously and spoke up.

“I heard everything.”
