I Think My Daughter Has Regressed (7 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 37
“Madam, have you returned?”
Ariel, having taken off her lace gloves, nodded in response to the butler’s greeting but tilted her head with a quizzical look in her eyes.
“Where is Lucy?”
“She is napping in the playroom with His Grace.”
“In the playroom… with him… together?”
Ariel stopped mid-step. She turned toward the butler, who had been following half a step behind her.
Her eyes widened in disbelief.
“Yes, that’s correct.”
A frown creased Ariel’s brow.
“You mean… Damian is taking a nap right now… with Lucy?”
Ariel locked eyes with the butler as she asked again for confirmation. The butler nodded with a faint, gentle smile.
“Yes. That’s right.”
“But wasn’t Damian supposed to enter the imperial palace today?”
“Yes, but even we servants couldn’t very well wake His Grace so abruptly…”
Just as Ariel slowly nodded and resumed climbing the stairs, the butler, who had been recounting the day’s events beside her, mentioned Jessica’s name.

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.
