I Think My Daughter Has Regressed (7 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 17
After finishing the first lesson, Ariel was very pleased with Daniel, but keeping potential uncertainties in mind, she made him a proposal.
“I’d like to continue observing the lessons—would that be alright?”
“…Do you mean you’d like to take part in the lessons themselves?”
Daniel’s tone grew noticeably cautious.
He seemed worried that if parents lingered nearby and constantly interjected during a child’s lessons, it might inadvertently stifle the child’s independent thinking.
Ariel finally felt she had found a tutor who perfectly matched her educational philosophy.
“No, I won’t be participating directly. I merely meant that I’d like to observe Lucy’s lessons whenever I wish, to ensure the instruction continues properly.”
“If you’re not participating, there’s no issue with observing. You’re welcome to attend anytime.”
“I see. Then let’s set specific days—about four times a week.”
“Yes. In that case, I’ll take my leave now.”
“Then, Teacher, I’ll see you at the next lesson!”
As Lucy waved cheerfully at Daniel, a bright smile also appeared on his face.
“Yes, I’ll be off then.”
Ariel glanced briefly between Lucy and Daniel and felt certain the matter of the tutor was now settled.
Still, she didn’t forget to ask Lucy for her final opinion.

I see that Lucy is guiding her tutor to discover the truth and realize that he is being manipulated.
Poor Ariel, I know her daughter Lucy would have ways to resolve that situation peacefully, but she went to extremes 😅 Poor mother, I imagine the next episode will show the anguish she’s carrying in that situation, especially since Lucy is under Ariel’s care.
What a fascinating novel! The title suggests that Lucy might be a regressor, but from my point of view, she behaves like a gifted child. How curious!
