While her family accidentally suffocates her with worry and the System mocks her as a “Grade-Grinding Goblin,” Adrian doesn’t tell her to fix her complex or stop running. Instead, he completely validates her ambition, tells her he will cheer her on until she gets into that Ivy League university, and promises that whether she changes or stays exactly the same, he will be right there to watch movies, visit bookstores, and help her empty her heart whenever it gets too full.
