Shocked, Victor looked over at Juno walking beside him. She had a pleasantly full expression, clearly content after eating.

It is so satisfying to see Victor finally stop fighting his internal denial and fully admit that he is the one who fell first. The imagery of him driving home down that dark forest road with fireworks bursting in his heart is such a perfect contrast to his usual arrogant persona.- I love Juno immediately calling out the system for literal genre fraud after hearing the nymph’s apocalyptic doom prophecy. She’s completely right—you don’t sign up for a cozy high teen romance drama only to get blindsided by a World War Z style disaster apocalypse.
- I am absolutely howling at Juno passionately mapping out an illegal, skill-fueled strategy to help Victor overcome his ultimate fear of a basketball dungeon. Watching Adrian casually join the dark side and admit he would absolutely freeze the opposing team’s feet to secure the win while the military supervisor just stares at them incredulously.
