Watching him realize that he’s officially lost his heart to her while the fireworks light up the night sky is absolutely beautiful.- It is so satisfying to see Victor finally stop fighting his internal denial and fully admit that he is the one who fell first. The imagery of him driving home down that dark forest road with fireworks bursting in his heart is such a perfect contrast to his usual arrogant persona.
- I love Juno immediately calling out the system for literal genre fraud after hearing the nymph’s apocalyptic doom prophecy. She’s completely right—you don’t sign up for a cozy high teen romance drama only to get blindsided by a World War Z style disaster apocalypse.
