Since the first gate opened, new laws have been enacted daily in the United States.

Among them, Connecticut has introduced numerous bills concerning Awakened individuals, and the latest law pertained to “dungeon entry.”

“To qualify for entering a Class C dungeon, one must first clear at least twenty Class D dungeons.”

The bill also stated, “Minors may not enter dungeons alone, nor may they enter dungeons ranked higher than their own level.”

Since the nation is now relying on people who were ordinary civilians just days ago—rather than soldiers—it stands to reason they’d implement at least minimal legal safeguards to reduce casualties.

Moreover, it was announced that university admission bonuses for Awakened individuals would now be differentiated based on dungeon clearance levels.

Calculations showed that clearing a single Class A dungeon was far more efficient for bonus points than repeatedly clearing Class D dungeons.

“Still, because of the law, I have to fill the required number of Class D dungeon clears first.”

Though not hit by monster waves, Connecticut still experiences roughly one gate opening per month. Each time, Adrian, Victor, Ms. Jina, Mr. Benjamin, and I are the ones who close it.

Since we haven’t yet cleared twenty Class D gates, any Class C or higher gates in Connecticut are handled by the U.S. military stationed there.

So far, we’ve already closed six Class D dungeons ourselves.

“At this rate, if we keep it up for about two years, the bonus points should be decent.”

We struggled unusually hard during our debut at the Amethyst Golem Dungeon, but subsequent Class D dungeons have been cleared without major issues.

It’d be great if we could keep steadily closing dungeons and eventually tackle even higher-level ones…

But lately, something’s been bothering me.
