Despite Kai’s request to stay in the lounge, Stella grabbed the pickaxe brought by the earth fairies and ran to the banquet hall.

The shadows tried to stop her, saying it was dangerous, but it was no use. She couldn’t just hide safely alone in the lounge like this.

Seeing an earth demon rushing toward Harmann through the wide-open doors, Stella threw the dagger she was holding with all her might without a second thought. Strangely, she didn’t even consider that the sword she threw might hit somewhere else.

As expected, the dagger hit the body of the earth demon that was about to bite Harmann’s nape, and fortunately, Harmann was unharmed without a single scratch.

Only after seeing the earth demon mercilessly embedded in the wall with a thud! did Harmann realize that he had almost had his throat torn out by the earth demon moments ago.

Harmann tried to compose himself as much as he put strength into his legs. That was when it happened. Behind the shadow that had lifted him, a pitch-black earth demon leaped up.

“Watch out!”

Simultaneously with Harmann’s shout, the shadow grabbed the earth demon that had climbed onto his nape by the chin.

The earth demon caught in the large hand scratched madly at his fingers and thrashed about, but the shadow paid no heed, squeezed tightly, and then slammed it to the floor.
