The ring Kai had given Stella when he proposed was cut from a diamond mined in the imperial family’s own diamond mine. Upon hearing the news that a yellow diamond had been unearthed, Kai immediately had it delivered to the palace.

It took only a week for the gem to be entrusted to a master jeweler and crafted into a ring.
