Anais and Killian’s wedding ceremony was held in the temple reserved exclusively for the most influential figures of the duchy.

Though the stone building could have seemed stark, its interior was lavishly adorned with countless chandeliers and flowers, creating a wonderfully warm atmosphere.

It was all thanks to Killian, who had poured his wealth and talent into the preparations without reservation.

Maximilian did not attend the ceremony in person.

‘I’d feel a bit awkward being here.’

The three of them, having toured the venue, headed toward the waiting room where Anais was expected.
