I Accidentally Imprinted On The Wolf Duke (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 95
“Hughgray, I’m sorry. I haven’t seen His Majesty in a long time, and there’s something I really need to tell him.”
In stark contrast to the Duke’s utterly twisted expression, Carcus offered Chloe his arm with a full smile on his face—clearly inviting her to link arms with him.
“Just for a moment, Your Majesty.”
Chloe spoke, pretending not to see Carcus’s outstretched arm.
“Then, shall we step out onto the balcony for a bit?”
Carcus smoothly lowered his arm and turned toward the balcony. Though she felt the Duke’s piercing glare stabbing into the back of her head, Chloe didn’t look back at him and immediately followed Carcus.
“Chloe!”
The moment they entered the balcony, Carcus called out to her and took a step closer. Chloe stepped back one pace, matching his advance.
“Your Majesty, it’s uncomfortable—please don’t come so close.”
Even on the balcony, the Duke would still be able to see them. She only wished to finish her conversation with Carcus alone—not to give the Duke any unnecessary reason for misunderstanding.
“Since it’s just the two of us, call me Carcus. When even you address me as ‘Your Majesty,’ it feels like we’ve grown so distant.”
“…All right.”
“I’d also appreciate it if you’d speak to me as casually as you used to.”
“…Okay.”
It felt far too unnatural for Chloe to formally address him after he’d suddenly appeared as Emperor.

My Ex-Girlfriend Is The Regent In The Female-dominant World (Male lead transmigrates to the matriarchal world)
Two years ago, Gu Sui picked up a homeless woman in ancient costume from the street.
Apart from occasionally claiming to be a princess from a female-dominant country due to illness, her figure, appearance, intelligence, and martial arts skills were impeccable.
Naturally evolving from roommates to girlfriends, as time went on, Gu Sui found it increasingly difficult to tolerate her queen syndrome.
“Mu Jiulu, can you stop controlling me inside and out? Let’s break up.”
Gu Sui made a breakup call, and since then, he couldn’t find any trace of her.
A year later, Gu Sui, who was planning to move, woke up the next day and found himself in a different place.
“Young Master, today is the day you choose your Wife-master through martial arts competition at Jade Dew Pavilion. Please get up quickly.”
Gu Sui: Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?
As the only son of a general’s mansion in a female-dominant dynasty, the young empress personally issued a decree allowing Gu Sui to select his Wife-master through martial arts competition. Whoever could defeat him could marry him.
Gu Sui: “……”
He didn’t inherit the original owner’s martial prowess, so anyone could defeat him! And what the hell is a Wife-master?
Forced to come to Jade Dew Pavilion, the densely packed women below made Gu Sui’s agoraphobia act up, and his face was full of resistance.
Until he saw the Regent sitting on the second floor, with a smile on the corner of her lips, her eyes wicked and nonchalant.
Hmm… she looked a little familiar.
It turned out that the Regent also found him a little familiar.
Mu Jiulu fiddled with her bone clasp, her deep gaze locked on the man who was out of place in this world.
“Finally, I found you.”

I can’t stand Carcus. I haven’t liked him since the beginning and I haven’t been able to pinpoint why. But it might be his audacity in how he thinks he knows best for Chloe’s life. Her mother has that same attitude and it angers me greatly.
Honestly? I hope Chloe recovers quickly and makes her own escape. Maybe turn into her tiger form and flee? And she can claim that she was raised as a human and didn’t realize it was “breaking the treaty” to transform around humans.
Can we never have a moments peace for our two Leads? I just want them to live happily together without any hardships.
