David's Husband (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 68
After their brief kiss ended, Min Je and Ha Yeon passed the large ginkgo tree and walked straight down the path. At the end of the trail, the art museum came into view.
Min Je, with practiced ease, deactivated the security system and opened the door. Following him inside, Ha Yeon saw that not a single light was on in the interior.
Since the museum was always softly lit to highlight the artworks, the darkness within felt unfamiliar to Ha Yeon.
Click. As Min Je flipped the light switch, illumination filled the building. Though the museum had always been a quiet place, the emptiness—now shared by only the two of them—made the silence feel even deeper.
“It feels strangely surreal, somehow.”
Ha Yeon spoke in a lowered voice; the overwhelming quietness had involuntarily softened her tone.
“I think I came here almost every day during this hour for an entire year after the museum first opened. I’d just stand here alone, endlessly, in this empty space.”
In the calmly recounted past, Ha Yeon glimpsed a side of Kang Min Jae she had never known—a man for whom the museum was his life itself. What had he been thinking as he looked upon this museum he had built through such hardship?
Min Je stood in the center of the main corridor, as though reenacting that moment from long ago.
“What were you thinking about, standing like that?”
Ha Yeon slowly approached and stood beside him, asking softly. Standing in the same place as him, the museum’s layout now struck her anew—perhaps because this spot offered a clear view not of the artworks themselves, but of connecting corridors and staircases winding through the building.
“Hmm? What was I thinking about, again?”
He probably hadn’t been entertaining any particularly pleasant thoughts. He loved the museum, yet he could never bring himself to love the profound emptiness and loneliness the space inflicted upon him.
In a way, it might have been a kind of battle—against the lifelong solitude that had tormented him, and the feeling of being nothing more than an empty shell.
Min Je reached for Ha Yeon’s hand beside him. Warmth, originating from her, seemed to flow through his veins. Strangely enough, only now did he finally feel human—before, with his cold blood, he’d never felt like a real person at all.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!
