“Are you jealous right now?”

When Ha Yeon asked with wide-open eyes, Min Je’s shoulders twitched.

“Jealous? Jealous of what? Why would I, of all people, be jealous of some ridiculously young idol?”

Then why is your voice cracking? Ha Yeon wanted to ask but instead narrowed her eyes slightly.

“What—what’s that expression for?”

Min Je was secretly uneasy, fearing Ha Yeon might say he was vastly inferior to the idol. She said I was her ideal type—was that a lie? Now he even felt strangely betrayed.

Ha, heh—he kept exhaling shallow breaths, until Ha Yeon tilted her chin up slightly and spoke.

“The idol thing was just because seeing a celebrity in person felt new and exciting. As for Director…”

She trailed off, leaving the sentence unfinished. Min Je felt like he might stop breathing, desperate to hear what came next.

Why on earth? Why was she blushing at the tips of her ears just to say something? Under his persistent gaze, Ha Yeon cleared her throat with a soft “Hm!” and quickly turned away.

‘Because Director is my perfect David.’

How could she possibly say that? She couldn’t. Shaking her head as well, Ha Yeon fled—prompting Min Je to chase closely behind.

“You still haven’t finished that sentence, have you?”

Perhaps due to his long legs, he caught up to her in an instant. Ha Yeon gasped, realizing Min Je was now walking beside her.
