There was no reply.

Ga Eul quickly pulled her hand away.

She didn’t want to be misunderstood.

When his sharp gaze, which had just touched her hand and then immediately climbed upward to meet hers, locked onto her, Ga Eul unconsciously tensed her shoulders.

“Um, President…”

Just as Ga Eul was about to call out to him again—

“…?”

He turned around without hesitation.

What’s going on…? Why…?

Lately, whenever they happened to run into each other, Ga Eul would smile warmly and approach him, and even if just faintly, he would greet her back with one of his rare, handsome smiles.

But this time, he turned away with icy coldness.

It was as if he were treating her like a complete stranger.

The next day, Ga Eul visited the gallery under the pretext of checking the pieces she’d selected for her first exhibition. Although the show was still a few days away and the setup wasn’t complete yet, her paintings were clearly visible enough for her to review properly.

Director Park, assuming Ga Eul was simply excited about her debut exhibition at TS Gallery and thus fussing over every detail, gave her a fatherly smile and showed her each reserved painting one by one—along with which booth they’d be displayed in.
