While Jeanne was finding calm in her system with a warm cup of tea, Green and Hanna quietly waited for her to settle down.

When Sunwoo came out after changing into comfortable loungewear, Jeanne still looked back and forth between him and Green with eyes full of distrust.

“Are you two really married? Not having an affair?”

“I’ll vouch for them. Sunwoo and Green are truly husband and wife.”

“I’ll vouch too. As Green’s best friend, I can tell you these two are the kind of couple who can’t live without each other.”

Yong Ki and Hanna stepped forward to guarantee it for the still-suspicious Jeanne.

“Oh my god, so I basically called Sunwoo’s wife a nine-tailed fox to her face?”

Jeanne let out a ridiculous little laugh at her own actions. Sunwoo pulled Green’s hand into both of his, wrapped it tightly, then asked Jeanne.

“Jeanne, now explain what was going on in that head of yours. How did things get this twisted?”

“It’s all your fault, Sunwoo! From the very beginning I knew you’d fallen for Green.”

“Was it that obvious?”

Sunwoo smirked, but Jeanne kept frowning.

“You’re a married man, so I thought you were just teasing Green, yet she didn’t seem to care at all. That made me admit your relationship was deep.”

At Jeanne’s words, Green’s face turned red. Far from not caring, she had actually buried herself in work because she hated seeing Jeanne with Sunwoo so much—but she couldn’t bring herself to say that.

“So I naturally assumed you’d divorce and continue with Green. But then you said you weren’t divorcing. You even said you loved your wife! You seemed like total trash.”
