Ra Jin’s eyes widened in surprise.

“Ji Ho. What are you doing here…?”

Flustered, she looked back and forth between Ji Ho and Ho Jin.

“Ra Jin, where else would you find evidence as solid as Senior’s?”

At Ho Jin’s words—spoken to help the suspicious Jin Jae Yi—Ra Jin was left speechless.

For a moment, several messages from his junior flashed simultaneously through Ji Ho’s mind.

While mentally reconstructing what had happened, Ji Ho visually assessed Ra Jin’s condition.

Her purple dress was stained all over, as if someone with poor technique had painted abstract art onto her clothes. Then, he gently grasped Ra Jin’s right arm. A bright red scratch, like one left by a cat’s claws, was clearly etched onto her pale inner arm.

“Hah.”

Ji Ho’s sharp gaze shot like an arrow straight at Jin Jae Yi.

With just a single look—more powerful than ten sentences—he overwhelmed her. The confidence she’d worn with her chin held high vanished, and Jin Jae Yi swallowed hard.

She wanted nothing more than to unleash a flood of harsh words welling up inside her.

But arguing here would only cause Ra Jin more distress. After all, Ra Jin couldn’t bear conflict and had already endured so much today.

“Ra Jin, does it hurt?”
