Captured into the Bedroom of the Enemy Emperor (1 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 20
Kalip was so flabbergasted that he lost the words to speak. The head steward standing before the office door opened it and announced that Princess Leac was waiting in the audience chamber.
Princess Leac? Of all times, right now.
“Bring her in.”
Kalip arranged documents on the Emperor’s office desk—ten proposals recommended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Finance, winnowed down from over thirty submissions.
“This is the proposal from Marquis Matis’s family. Drawing on their experience in mining ventures, the Matis Family has drafted a plan to adopt a coal extraction method. And this one comes from the Kirchner Trading Company, founded by the second son of Count Kirchner.”
“Didn’t Tane Empire also send a proposal?”
Kalip flipped through the documents and pulled one from the bottom of the pile.
“Yes, this one. It’s from Viscount Lasbur’s family—they operate the Lasbur Trading Company in Torun Kingdom, handling everything from garnet pyrope mining to transportation.”
“The Lasbur Trading Company of Tane, huh.”
Knock knock knock.
After the steward’s announcement, Princess Leac entered.
“Julia Leac, the undying golden sun of the Empire, greets His Imperial Majesty.”
Julia lifted the hem of her pink dress, embroidered with floral patterns in vibrant silk thread, and bowed her upper body in greeting.
Her jet-black hair gleamed like ebony; her bangs were neatly cut straight across her forehead, while the rest flowed down to her waist.
So this is what a lady’s dress looks like. How splendid.

My Ex-Girlfriend Is The Regent In The Female-dominant World (Male lead transmigrates to the matriarchal world)
Two years ago, Gu Sui picked up a homeless woman in ancient costume from the street.
Apart from occasionally claiming to be a princess from a female-dominant country due to illness, her figure, appearance, intelligence, and martial arts skills were impeccable.
Naturally evolving from roommates to girlfriends, as time went on, Gu Sui found it increasingly difficult to tolerate her queen syndrome.
“Mu Jiulu, can you stop controlling me inside and out? Let’s break up.”
Gu Sui made a breakup call, and since then, he couldn’t find any trace of her.
A year later, Gu Sui, who was planning to move, woke up the next day and found himself in a different place.
“Young Master, today is the day you choose your Wife-master through martial arts competition at Jade Dew Pavilion. Please get up quickly.”
Gu Sui: Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?
As the only son of a general’s mansion in a female-dominant dynasty, the young empress personally issued a decree allowing Gu Sui to select his Wife-master through martial arts competition. Whoever could defeat him could marry him.
Gu Sui: “……”
He didn’t inherit the original owner’s martial prowess, so anyone could defeat him! And what the hell is a Wife-master?
Forced to come to Jade Dew Pavilion, the densely packed women below made Gu Sui’s agoraphobia act up, and his face was full of resistance.
Until he saw the Regent sitting on the second floor, with a smile on the corner of her lips, her eyes wicked and nonchalant.
Hmm… she looked a little familiar.
It turned out that the Regent also found him a little familiar.
Mu Jiulu fiddled with her bone clasp, her deep gaze locked on the man who was out of place in this world.
“Finally, I found you.”

Re-reading this chapter, it made realize how little Patricia regarding her life compared to Patrick, all because of her guilt over her twin’s sickness which she assumed caused by her taking away his nutrition during pregnancy (in my opinion, it’s an entirely absurd superstition and baseless theory at best). Glad Patricia has come far by started relying in Harchen until she can trust him and vice versa.
Oh! Harcen made a surf board and have Patricia surfing at the sea? That’s so nice of him! If I were her, I too would be thrilled as I riding the waves.
Could it be the grave with the red hibiscus is the late Empress’ (a.k.a Patricia and Patrick’s mom) grave? Talk about cutting onion.
