Captured by the Desert Tyrant (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 112
“Who’s there?!”
At the sound coming from beyond the opposite corner, Hades immediately drew a dagger from his chest and headed toward it. Black killing intent radiated from him.
‘I mustn’t be discovered!’
Instinctively sensing a threat to her life, Latifa clamped a hand over her mouth and burrowed deep into the thicket. But no matter how large the bush was, it simply wasn’t enough to hide her.
Thud, thud. At the sound of Hades’ furious footsteps, Latifa felt her fingertips grow cold and shut her eyes.
-Clang!
“Hah. It’s you again.”
‘Hati!’
Just then, a small Desert Fox appeared, circling Hades and sniffing curiously. Yet sensing his ominous aura, it didn’t dare approach closely.
With a heavy sigh, Hades sheathed his dagger and knelt down, beckoning Hati with a flick of his fingers. The killing intent vanished instantly, and though hesitant, Hati climbed onto his hand and leapt onto his shoulder.
Only then did Latifa exhale softly through her fingers in relief—but her mind remained utterly confused.
‘If the Queen gave birth to Hades, then who’s his father? It can’t be Lord Riyad! Wait—could it be Luhan? What on earth is going on?!’
“Where’s your master? Are you alone?”
Murmuring as he gently stroked the fox’s fur, which carried the scent of sunlight, Hades offered Riyad a weary smile.
“I understand well what worries you, Father, but from the day I received the honor of Ignite, I swore solemnly to carry on Caleb’s bloodline and burn brightly without shame.”

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.
