Night fell, and though Ivenel had gotten into bed early, she couldn’t fall asleep easily due to her anxiety about tomorrow.

She’d never felt this nervous even before important matches.

‘This won’t do.’

Finally, she sprang out of bed and stepped outside. Breathing in the cool air seemed to calm her nerves a little.

“It’s okay. I just need to do exactly as I’ve practiced. I’ve studied thoroughly, after all.”

As she walked, soothing herself with these words, a deep, unfamiliar sound carried by the wind reached Ivenel’s ears.

‘What’s that sound?’

It felt as if a powerful force had struck her, yet the resonance was entirely different from gunfire.

Ivenel turned to go back to her room but couldn’t resist her curiosity and headed toward the source of the sound.

Behind the mansion, she discovered another training ground besides the one she’d visited earlier that day. And standing right in its center was someone.

Cautiously approaching, she confirmed it was none other than Hibru. In his hand was a silver bow.

‘Something’s different.’

The atmosphere was completely unlike when he’d left the training ground earlier without uttering a word. Especially striking were his serious green eyes.

Soon, the arrow released from Hibru’s hand struck the target with that same deep sound she’d heard. Dozens of arrows already pierced the bullseye, clearly showcasing his skill.

“Incredible….”
