After finishing her laser treatment, Chae Won returned to her seat and looked up at the knock that followed immediately.

Nurse Oh peeked her head in.

“Ms. Kim, the patient Han Ji Sook scheduled for 2 p.m. today has rescheduled her appointment.”

Chae Won, who had just sat down, frowned in confusion before asking,

“For when?”

“Next week.”

“That won’t work…”

Still thinking, Chae Won lifted her eyelids again and looked at Nurse Oh.

“I’ll make a call myself. And could you please update the list with all this week’s schedule changes and send it over again?”

“Oh, sure. I’ll pass it on to Yeon Seo right away.”

“Thank you.”

Nurse Oh, who should have left by now, stood there with a strange look on her face.

“What’s wrong?”

“It’s nothing, teacher. You do know we have the hospital dinner tomorrow evening, right?”

“Oh.”
