So Min walked leisurely, glancing around, then turned to look behind her.

She saw Jae Rim striding toward her.

Just as she wondered what he was holding in his hand, Jae Rim scattered the leaves he’d just scooped up from the ground over the air above So Min’s head.

“Ta-da. Autumn rain.”

Rustling down, a shower of fallen leaves landed on So Min’s head.

Leaves that had once been deep green, then turned vividly colorful, and finally faded to brown crunched softly as they tumbled back onto the earth.

“When you see a pile of fallen leaves like this, don’t you just want to do something like this?”

Honestly, she’d never thought of doing that.

She didn’t even understand why someone would want to, but regardless, she didn’t feel bad about it—

especially since Jae Rim’s face, cheeks puffed up with delight, looked utterly thrilled.

So Min, who’d been standing there looking startled, let out a soft chuckle, and Jae Rim’s eyes widened slightly.

“Oh—just now, that expression. I should’ve taken a photo.”

“You always think about taking pictures and posting them right away—that’s called social media addiction, you know? What you see with your own eyes and feel in your heart is real; seeing things through a lens and judging them by how many likes they get from others…”

“It’s not like that at all! It’s just… sometimes in life, there are moments you want to keep and hold onto, right?”

Jae Rim scooped up another handful of leaves with one hand, held his phone in the other, and said,
