Da Jung startled and turned toward the source of the voice. Out of nowhere, Ye Seul had appeared and was pounding the demolition crew member’s leg with her tiny fists.

The man, clearly annoyed, simply walked past the child. In response, Ye Seul latched onto his leg and bit his thigh with all her might.
“Ah!”
She bit so hard that a loud scream escaped the man’s mouth. His face twisted in pain as he shook his leg violently.
Thrown off by the sudden movement, Ye Seul swayed back and forth before flipping backward and falling flat on her back.
Seeing this, Da Jung hurriedly pushed herself upright. As she quickly rose to her knees, preparing to stand, Ye Seul was already just moments away from hitting the ground.
“Ye Seul!”
At the moment Da Jung cried out her name in alarm, a tall man suddenly burst through the group of demolition workers. Dressed in a black suit, he swiftly stretched out both arms and caught Ye Seul mid-fall.
“Are you okay?”
