“I’m excited. Just looking at it is enough.”

These drawings in the storyboard book. These quiet, motionless illustrations—thinking that soon they would come vividly to life right in front of me through the actors’ expressions and voices—sent a wide tremor spreading from my chest.

A feeling of overwhelming excitement that was too big to even contain in my heart.

The memories from the spring and summer that Jun and I spent together. The days when the temperature between us rose and fell several times a day.

Those precious scenes would soon become our “present” for a brief moment, inside the very house where we had spent time together nine years ago. Just imagining that fleeting moment made my heart ache warmly.

But soon, the fingers that had been leisurely flipping through the storyboard stopped at one point. My hand froze as if it had tripped over the small subtitle written at the top of that page.

‘After the Breakup’

After the breakup……

In Jun’s sense of time, the day he finally accepted that we had parted seemed to have become a huge turning point, dividing everything into before and after.

It was only a single thin sheet of paper. Just one weightless page. Yet I couldn’t bring myself to turn to the next chapter titled “after the breakup.”

Without realizing it, I brushed my fingertips over the word “breakup” as if caressing it. As if doing so would sweep away all the time we had spent inside that word, along with the sadness we felt during those times.

“It’s okay. You can turn the page.”

Jun’s warm voice, which had been watching me the whole time, reached me gently.

“Ah… no, it’s not that.”

“Then what is it?”
