By the time Kim Yoon Hee and Da Hyun finished their conversation, Min Hyuk returned. After confirming that the news article about Yusong’s illegal surveillance had broken, Min Hyuk showed the article to Da Hyun. Da Hyun gave a weary laugh, as if she had expected Han Su Cheol to be fully capable of something like this all along.

Da Hyun stood up from her seat, telling Kim Yoon Hee she’d said all she needed to say. Before Kim Yoon Hee left, Min Hyuk overheard what Da Hyun had told her.

Hearing about their conversation from Kim Yoon Hee, Min Hyuk was surprised to find that Da Hyun thought exactly the same way he did. He hadn’t expected that she would make the exact same request to Kim Yoon Hee that he himself had been contemplating.

So that was why she’d called Kim Yoon Hee today.

The original was in Si Hoon’s hands—since Si Hoon held the position of Chairman of HG Group, it would carry far greater impact if he made the disclosure rather than Min Hyuk himself.

Of course, prior to releasing the slush fund list, he planned to reveal that Da Hyun wasn’t Su Cheol’s biological daughter and that she’d endured psychological torment from Su Cheol’s family all this time.

At the same time, he would ensure that half of Yusong would go to Da Hyun as inheritance. Initially, his goal had been to destroy Yusong under Su Cheol’s leadership—but if Da Hyun became Yusong’s largest shareholder, everything would change.

If she ousted Su Cheol and became Yusong’s owner, there’d be no need to destroy the company at all.

Of course, that would ultimately be her choice to make.
