It was rush hour, so the elevator was packed.

As soon as Sa Rang stepped out onto the first floor with the crowd, she let out a deep sigh the moment she exited the building.

She still had a long way to go before getting home, and thanks to her cold symptoms, she felt more exhausted than usual.

She’d skipped lunch because she had no appetite, and now her stomach was growling.

Eager to just collapse onto her bed and rest, Sa Rang hurried toward the subway station.

Pulling her coat tighter against the chilly wind, she tucked both hands into her pockets.

She froze mid-step as something hot brushed against her right hand.

She’d forgotten she’d slipped the hand warmer she’d been holding while getting ready to leave work into her pocket.

Trapped inside her pocket, the heat had intensified to the point where it was almost unbearable to touch.

Sa Rang carefully gripped the edge of the hand warmer to cool it down.

“I never even got to thank him.”

She hadn’t had a chance to express her gratitude to Do Han after he’d dealt with the trouble from Product Planning for her.

Though honestly, even if she’d had the chance, she probably wouldn’t have said anything.

Now, she regretted not sending him a message.
