Lee Hyun silently followed Yura Jin, who walked ahead with a blank expression. He wanted to ask if she really had to bow so deeply to Oh Se Jin, but knowing he himself had crossed a line, he stayed quiet.

It had been a trivial matter, yet his reason snapped without him realizing it, crossing a boundary. He’d only intended to take Yura Jin and leave, but the thought of being alone in the same space with her felt unbearably unpleasant no matter how he looked at it.

As they entered the narrow parking lot, Oh Se Jin’s secretary gave an awkward bow. Yura Jin merely gave a slight nod in return and scanned the area, searching for her own car. She spoke first, her voice tinged with reluctance.

“Where’s my car?”

“I told Secretary Ahn to bring it here.”

Yura Jin clicked her tongue softly, as if resigned, then nodded toward Lee Hyun.

“Then you drive.”

“Jin Yoo Ra.”

Watching her back as she headed toward the passenger seat, Lee Hyun murmured her name. Yura Jin closed her eyes briefly, as if holding back her emotions, then opened them again and replied calmly without even looking at him.

“Not here.”

How long had they been driving? Traffic had gradually thickened until, finally, their car stopped in a completely jammed road. Lee Hyun called out to her, who sat stiffly silent, in a calm voice.

“Jin Yoo Ra.”

“You weren’t wrong, Oppa. But that kind of remark was impolite.”

“Impolite…”
