At the very moment Lee Hyun and Jin Ho were locked in a tense psychological battle, Yura and Se Jin were also entangled in their own heated argument.

“How long are you going to keep spouting such ridiculous nonsense?”

Unable to completely ignore Se Jin, who hadn’t changed a bit, Yura finally snapped back at him. She hadn’t realized just how unpleasant the word “we” could feel.

“Until you finally understand how I feel.”

Hearing that, Yura scoffed inwardly—clearly, outright ignoring him wasn’t going to work.

“Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?”

“I already told you. I still love you.”

Se Jin repeated the same absurd words as before, utterly unchanged. The word “love” now felt laughable—so hollow it barely seemed real anymore.

There was something else beneath Se Jin’s logic, which insisted on love without offering any real reason. That strange, nagging discomfort made Yura twist her lips in irritation.

“Did you finally start regretting it? What part exactly?”

Could it be that he assumed Yura’s family would become a powerful ally? But that didn’t make sense—he’d already revealed during their relationship that he was the second son of Jin Hwa Group.

Or perhaps it was her changed status now? But even so, she hadn’t surpassed Argon yet, so her influence wasn’t particularly significant. What on earth had sparked such persistence in him?

“It’s less about regret and more about wanting to undo my mistake and find you again.”

“The bus has already left. I’m married.”
