“Hyun Woo?”
Seeing Yoo Gun glaring fiercely while placing a friendly hand on Yura’s shoulder, Se Jin bit his lip.
Since Se Jin had already met Yoo Gun once before parting ways with Yura, he wasn’t particularly surprised by his anger.
Even back then, Jin Yoo Gun had bluntly shown his protective feelings toward his younger sister and issued a warning. And now, as if continuing that warning, Yoo Gun’s lips twisted mercilessly.
“This is the last time I’ll hold back for Yura’s sake, Oh Se Jin.”
Before Se Jin could offer any explanation, Yoo Gun snatched Yura’s hand.
“Let’s go.”
Yura, caught off guard, was pulled out of the café by Yoo Gun.
Startled by Yoo Gun’s sudden appearance, Yura tensed her hand in his grip as if trying to stop him.
“What’s going on?”
Ever since leaving home and turning her back on her father, Yura had been hiding her existence.
Yoo Gun knew this better than anyone. That was why, ever since she joined Songrim, he had never once visited her at the office, nor even pretended to recognize her should they happen to cross paths. So his current behavior—exposing her identity like this—was strange.
“Why does that bastard keep spouting nonsense to you?”
“Just leave it alone. What are you even doing here, Hyun Woo?”
Given how thoroughly Yoo Gun disliked Oh Se Jin, it was only natural he’d come over after seeing them together. But separately from that, Yura felt uneasy—this simply wasn’t a place Yoo Gun should be appearing.
