Kyung Jun raised his voice as if he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Not only had she blatantly treated him like an uninvited guest, but now she was talking about smells? He started complaining that this was no way to treat a friend who had barely managed to get time off and rushed all the way here.

“I came running from afar because I was worried you’d be scared alone. And instead of saying thank you, you’re acting all ridiculous.”

“No, that’s not it. We lit the charcoal, remember? It’s the charcoal smell. Dummy.”

“Oh.”

Kyung Jun made a face like he’d just had a great realization, then sniffed his clothes. Yeah, it did smell. He smiled awkwardly and wrinkled his nose. Without another word, he chugged his beer, coolly set the empty can down, and spoke.

“Go wash up and let’s drink more. You can shower on the second floor, right? You should shower too. You smell.”

He grinned triumphantly after his petty revenge. Da Jung looked at him awkwardly.

“……I’ll shower before bed.”

It was a strange answer. She had basically forced him to shower because he smelled like charcoal, yet she wasn’t going to. She figured Kyung Jun would definitely say something about it. So she added whatever came to mind.

“Oh. I have to watch this drama.”

“…….”

“This one. The drama Oh Chae Won is in is really fun. is super hot right now.”

“Does Lee Jae Ho appear in it?”

“……No. He doesn’t.”
