A Fallen Holy Knight Is Obsessed With Me (12 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 7
“I had no idea Dariel’s younger sister was such a stunning lady. Had I known, I would’ve begged this guy to introduce me to you right away.”
Even the clichéd, insincere line couldn’t escape notice. Kasha narrowed her eyes slightly and gave only the barest nod in response.
“What nonsense are you spouting? Don’t approach her so carelessly.”
“What do you mean, ‘approach’? Are you already guarding your little sister? Anyway, you—shouldn’t you go over there?”
“Huh? What’s going on?”
Kasha pretended not to listen but pricked up her ears anyway.
“That Lady Margaret Yonder you secretly admire—she looks rather… troubled right now.”
“What? What are you talking about? Be precise.”
Margaret Yonder. At the unexpected mention of that name, Kasha froze.
Just then, the musicians began their performance, signaling the start of the dance.
Already?
Kasha’s eyebrows twitched.
Not a single person had yet invited her onto the dance floor.
And now this talk about Margaret Yonder—what did it even mean?
Kasha listened even more intently to the two men’s conversation.
“She was dragged right into the center.”
The Son of Baron Fenilton shrugged and pointed behind himself.
“The center?”
Dariel and Kasha turned to look where he indicated.
Amid the loud music, boisterous laughter, and swirling array of colorful dresses—
In the very heart of the ballroom, where countless couples danced together—
Though the constant movement of people blurred the view, someone was unmistakably standing alone in the middle.
A hazy sky-blue dress. Brown hair.
“Lady Margaret!”
Dariel cried out, his voice trembling.
Kasha nearly shouted along with him.
Just what in the world are you doing standing there, Margaret Yonder?
‘There.’
On this very day before her regression, among the crowd who had mocked her as she lay collapsed like a beast—only one person had reached out a hand: a pale hand clad in a hazy sky-blue dress.
And now, Margaret Yonder—the owner of that hand—stood right there, transformed into the very beast within.
[This is the timeline separator]Odette took the hand of one of her admirers, a handsome Son of a Marquis, and glided gracefully across the ballroom floor.
With each measured step of the dance, her mood lifted further.
Especially whenever she passed by Margaret Yonder in the center of the ballroom, head bowed low, being jostled helplessly from side to side.
Of course, it would have been even more satisfying if that girl—Kasha or whatever her name was—had been standing in that spot instead.
Boom.
With a dramatic flourish, the dance concluded.
As applause and cheers filled the hall, Odette cast a quick glance toward Margaret.
She was staggering, struggling to escape the stage.
‘Where do you think you’re going?’
Odette crossed her arms and watched silently. Her dance partner, sharp enough to catch her intent, swiftly stepped forward and shoved Margaret.
“Ouch!”
Margaret’s skirt flipped over as she fell disgracefully, revealing her thin legs and worn underskirt.
Heh.
Odette subtly covered the rising corners of her mouth with her fan.
‘How utterly unsightly.’
Just as Odette savored this improved mood—
“Lady Margaret!”
A powerful voice cut through the crowd. Simultaneously, a slender figure appeared before Margaret and extended a white hand.
Odette’s eyes narrowed as she recognized the hand’s owner.
Trending
‘Again?’
Kasha Lyuschno.
That infuriating, unpleasant girl was offering her hand to Margaret.
“Please get up.”
Her voice was awkward and lifeless.
Yet her hand reached unerringly toward Margaret—without the slightest hesitation.
Margaret hesitated briefly, then shakily grasped it.
In that instant, unable to contain her irritation, Odette lowered the fan she’d been using to mask her face. Their eyes met directly—Kasha’s, helping Margaret rise, and Odette’s, burning with fury.
‘You dare ruin my amusement?’
Odette’s smile vanished completely.
“Lady Margaret.”
Just then, a large man pushed through the crowd, his face pale as he called out to Margaret. Dariel Lyuschno of House Lyuschno. Huffing, he demanded,
“Are you all right? Who on earth dares—?”
“Brother.”
It was Kasha who calmed Dariel as his voice rose in agitation.
“Lady Yonder seems terribly shaken… Perhaps you could escort her somewhere to rest?”
“Oh—yes, of course. Lady Margaret, would you take my arm? This way—”
Following Kasha’s suggestion, Dariel helped Margaret up, and the two slowly exited the ballroom. Before leaving, Margaret held Kasha’s gaze a moment longer than necessary, then bowed her head weakly.
Once they disappeared, only Odette and Kasha remained in the center of the ballroom.
Countless eyes—including those of Odette’s admirers—watched them intently.
Odette felt her previously lifted spirits plummet straight into the abyss.
She had merely played a small prank, yet now she looked like the villain.
As Odette deliberated how best to repay this foul feeling, Kasha spoke.
“You truly never change, do you?”
“What did you say?”
Odette struggled to control her darkening expression.
Kasha—that girl’s expression—infuriated her beyond measure. It looked as though she saw right through Odette, clear as day.
“In this world… there are two kinds of rulers.”
“What absurdity are you spouting now, my lady?”
Odette snapped sharply, but Kasha paid her no mind.
“One kind commands such respect that others follow naturally, even without effort… while the other must constantly trample those around them just to reassure themselves of their own position.”
Kasha now slowly scanned Odette’s circle of admirers.
“Who among them… can truly guarantee… they’ll never be the one trampled… someday?”
Though she spoke haltingly, with an oddly clumsy manner of speech, not a single person mocked her. Every young attendee in the ballroom listened intently to her words.
Her followers were wavering—because of Kasha Lyuschno’s words.
Odette quickly stepped forward to shift the mood.
“Oh dear. Lady Lyuschno. You speak so slowly—it’s hard to grasp what you’re even trying to say. How pitiful.”
A few scattered, half-hearted chuckles followed Odette’s mockery.
Though slightly stung by the tepid reaction, Odette maintained her composure and continued smoothly,
“The music has been silent far too long. We should begin the next dance soon.”
She gestured toward the orchestra, then openly sneered at Kasha,
“Oh my—still haven’t found a partner, have you?”
At Odette’s glance, all the noble youths surrounding them took a deliberate step back from Kasha. Once again, a perfect circle formed around her.
Kasha stood utterly alone once more.
‘In the past, I would’ve turned pale and plotted my escape at a moment like this.’
Kasha thought.
It was strange—she no longer felt hurt at all by their gazes, filled now with pity or contempt.
‘None of you can wound me. The only one who can hurt me is myself.’
Once, her ignorance and naivety had led her straight into death.
But now, she was neither foolish nor innocent.

Thus, she faced them all with unmatched dignity, standing proudly alone.
Odette’s confident expression began to crack as she watched Kasha’s face.
And just then—
Thud. Thud.
A pair of footsteps—unusually loud and clear—echoed through the hall.
Kasha’s hitherto calm eyes wavered slightly. At the same moment, a platinum-haired man emerged slowly, his presence instantly dominating the crowd.
Lion Aranias.
Seeing him, who shone as though alone in the world, Kasha was overwhelmed by an emotion so intense it startled even herself.
Unlike their meeting at the temple before her regression, Lion’s arms were still whole beneath his dazzling white holy knight uniform. His eyes, once hollow and vacant, now sparkled like gems.
Most of all, she was so happy just to see him alive that she nearly smiled.
Lion had been the only person in her short life with whom she’d shared a bond of mutual suffering. His powerless death had left an indelible scar upon her.
‘Now that I see you… I understand. Without even realizing it, I’ve been waiting desperately for this moment.’
Kasha murmured a confession he couldn’t hear.
Though they’d met only twice in their lives, he remained a deep wound in her heart.
This time, could she finally unravel the tangled thread of fate between them?
Listening to her racing heartbeat, she waited for him as he approached.
Yet Kasha wasn’t the only one awaiting him.
Odette had waited for him ever since the ball began. The moment she saw him appear, her heart leapt with joy.
She quickly smoothed her dress and shot a meaningful look at her current partner standing beside her. He stepped back immediately, his face deflated but offering no resistance.
In that interval, Lion strode without hesitation straight into the center of the ballroom. Odette, Kasha, and Lion now stood facing one another, forming the three points of a triangle.
An almost uncomfortable tension hung thickly among them.
Odette mistakenly believed this tension existed solely between herself and Lion. Smiling as alluringly as she could, she opened her mouth to speak to him.
But Lion’s voice rang out first—by the narrowest of margins.
“Do you not have a partner?”
He addressed not Odette—but Kasha Lyuschno.
Stunned, Odette’s eyes widened in disbelief.
“…No.”
Kasha replied, a beat too late.
For a moment, it felt as if time itself had frozen between them. Everyone surrounding the pair felt utterly reduced to mere spectators.
Odette bit her lip until it nearly bled, utterly unable to comprehend the situation.
‘Ever since I first laid eyes on that girl, she’s set my nerves on edge.’
But what disturbed Odette most of all was Kasha’s expression.
In a miraculous moment when Lion Aranias himself had asked her to dance, Kasha dared to remain perfectly composed.
As if she’d expected nothing less.
Odette’s body began to tremble with rage.
At her own party, the man who obviously belonged to her had offered his hand to another woman.
And not just any woman—Kasha Lyuschno, the lowest creature imaginable.
“Then… would you care to dance with me?”
Ignoring Odette’s seething fury entirely, Lion asked once more in a low voice.
Calm. Cold. Utterly devoid of self-interest.
Those who heard understood immediately.
Lion was issuing a warning—to them.
To those nobles who, discarding all dignity, harassed the vulnerable.
Some finally came to their senses at this warning, their faces flushing with shame.
But for Odette, the effect was precisely the opposite.
She grew even angrier—furious at being cast as the aggressor in Lion’s eyes.
Odette’s mask shattered completely. With a face even she knew looked vicious and menacing, she glared directly at Kasha.
“That’s—”
Just then, Kasha slowly spoke again.
“No.”

Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.

It’s cute that he is taking care of her, also confused what to do next.
The father is very disappointing. I wondered if he had married his wife out of obligation, as she was a saintess, and now that she is gone, he is going down a spiral.
This chapter was just frustrating, only enemies trying to scheme against our couple
