Lion quietly released Kasha’s hand and rose from his seat.
Seeing this, Dariel gritted his teeth as if witnessing some shameless rogue.
Dariel first gestured to the healer to check Kasha’s condition, then strode furiously toward Lion.
His expression was murderous.
“For someone of your standing—as Deputy Captain of the Holy Knight Order, as a scion of the Aranias Imperial House… Despite that disgraceful incident at the last ball, I chose not to press the matter. And now… just what is this situation?”

The father is very disappointing. I wondered if he had married his wife out of obligation, as she was a saintess, and now that she is gone, he is going down a spiral.
This chapter was just frustrating, only enemies trying to scheme against our couple
