49 Times Left, Master! (Completed Main Story) - Side Story 5
Wol Seom stared at me with wide eyes. Within those round eyes, Wol Seom’s pupils trembled rapidly.
I was left speechless. My insides were boiling furiously. That wretched disciple of mine—just when I thought he’d been acting cuter lately, what is he hiding from me now?
Wol Seom leaned close to my ear and whispered softly,
“So Ga Ju… are you all right?”
“Not at all.”
If I were fine here, I wouldn’t be Yo Yohwa. I’d have already attained enlightenment and be floating among the clouds.
Eventually, unable to bear it any longer, I told Wol Seom to stay put and squeezed my inner energy until I could barely breathe, concealing all traces of my presence. In that state, I hurried ahead to the road where the Third Prince’s carriage would surely pass and waited.
‘All other paths are too narrow for a carriage—Third Prince will definitely come this way.’
How long did I wait there? Finally, the sound of carriage wheels rolling grew steadily closer. Only then did I release my concealment technique and step into the middle of the road.
The slowly advancing carriage, spotting me blocking its path, slowed even further, and the coachman whipped his reins toward me, shouting,
“Hey! Hey! Move aside!”
But the coachman cut off his shout mid-sentence, lowered his whip, and turned to look behind him—as if someone had called out to him from within. After nodding a couple of times, he brought the carriage to a complete stop.
‘Third Prince must have recognized me.’
Seeing that, I slowly approached the carriage. As I drew near, the coachman tensed slightly and gripped the reins tighter.
I passed by the coachman and moved to the window of the carriage. The moment I stood beside it, the curtain covering the window slowly slid aside.

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.

I can understand ML’s jealousy, but really, why not to let his wifey pay her karmic debt and then live happily ever after?
Ok, Young Chang is my second fav (after Seon An), he is so thoughtful and earnest
Probably there is a typo: “The 13th prince”, not 3rd
