49 Times Left, Master! (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 271
“It’s not for me to judge, Gonggong. Orders have come down—I must escort His Highness.”
Un Gwi wished desperately that Hwa Ryeo would miraculously open his eyes and give instructions. Of all times, the 13th Prince had to be unconscious now.
He regretted not stopping Hwa Ryeo when he went to find Yo Yohwa. Had Hwa Ryeo stayed in the palace, someone would have immediately intervened the moment anyone tried to frame him.
“Escort His Highness!”
At the soldier’s shout, his subordinates surged forward. They snatched the cart from Un Gwi and began pushing it in another direction.
Un Gwi quickly chased after them. Even if the 13th Prince could clear his name upon waking, his injuries needed treatment first.
They might imprison him under the pretense of investigation and even kill him—Un Gwi had to prevent that too. From now on, he couldn’t afford to take his eyes off his lord for even a moment.

The cell where the 13th Prince was imprisoned was somewhat larger and better than the one where Yo Yohwa and Song Taegam had previously been held.
Un Gwi stood anxiously before the bars, waiting for the physician to arrive.
He had hoped Cho Gam would come—and fortunately, Cho Gam was among the two physicians who appeared.
Un Gwi deliberately avoided looking at Cho Gam and instead spoke in an unnecessarily flustered tone.
“Please save our Highness! He was struck by an arrow in the neck. It hit the side, and we administered first aid quickly, but for several days now his consciousness has been flickering in and out.”
Cho Gam stood by with his medical bag, while the other physician—who seemed to be his superior—entered the cell to examine the 13th Prince’s pulse.
In the meantime, Un Gwi casually moved beside Cho Gam and swiftly whispered the situation in a barely audible voice.

My Step-brother Is Obsessed With Me (Female-dominant)
A gentle female protagonist vs pitiful in the early stage, and a sick male protagonist in the later stage
Cheng Songer transmigrated into the body of a vicious cannon fodder female supporting character with the same name as her in a female-dominant novel.
In the original story, the cannon fodder female supporting character was inhumane, committing domestic violence, gambling excessively, being lustful, and even wanting to sell her stepbrother to a brothel for money.
As luck would have it, she just happened to transmigrate at this time.
Seeing Cheng Qingzhi biting his lip, enduring the tears in his eyes, looking pitiful, her heart softened.
She stuffed the money back into the Madam’s hand and reached out to him.
“Brother, come home with me.”

That’s a blessing ML is smart and the situation is probably will be resolved quickly, otherwise I would’ve rage flip because of that never ending misunderstandings.
I hoped that after main story ending they finally will stop that habit of lying in every little thing, it’s a pity I expected too much 🫠
I can understand ML’s jealousy, but really, why not to let his wifey pay her karmic debt and then live happily ever after?
